Heart of Broadway

Posted 15-Jan-2017
Location: Broadway!
Very helpful staff - helped us get last minute tickets for a show, and provided all we requested quickly and efficiently. Room was clean and nice, but would have been good to have an extra blanket in the room. Great location!

Pros: The hotel was in a good central location.
Location: Lots to do in Times Square.
The bathroom was not clean, taps were lose, the shower curtain was dirty and the sink and taps didn't look like they had been cleaned ever. There was dirt on the walls in the bedroom. When we opened drawers to put our clothes in we found rubbish from the previous occupant. There was a mix up with check out times that were unclear and nearly resulted in us being charged a fee. We wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

Great Times Square location

Posted 14-Jan-2017
Cons: The perfume scent in the lobby was a bit too strong.
Location: A block or two walking distance to TKTS and all the major theaters. There are delis close to either entrance for a quick breakfast, snacks and drinks
Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Times Square. I had a room with a king size bed which was roomy, clean and nicely appointed.

NYC

Cons: Change your pillows
Everything about this hotel is good, the staff, location, room size, with one exception, the pillows. The pillows were so bad it did impact our sleep.

It's The Little Things

Posted 11-Jan-2017
We've stayed here several times. It's convenient to everything and is an overall nice hotel. However, for the price they are slacking from what the hotel used to provide. It's pretty obvious they cutting corners. There's a keurig but the coffee offered is the worst and it would be nice to be able to select coffe or tea instead you get one coffee, a decaf and tea. What if you both want coffee? I wish they'd put the mini fridge back and a microwave would be nice. Paint and carpets are rundown. You can see black stuff under the rim of the sink(was the same way last time we stayed). Toilet paper is like sand paper. Room was freezing and there's no extra blanket. I slept in my clothes one night. The staff is wonderful and the only thing that would make me stay here again.

Worst of the worst

Posted 10-Jan-2017
This was the worst hotel expierience of my life. After check in I was assigned a small cheap looking room with no view after paying extra for a room with a view. I asked to change rooms and was accommodated with a larger room with a nice view. Unfortunately the room also was very cheap looking. Torn furniture, sloppy remodel job in the bathroom, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Not to mention there was an unknown stain on the matress. I woke up with back pain. I had to lay the pillows out on top of the bed and sleep on top of the pillows. The situation was still very uncomfortable. I attempted to voice my concern but the manager was just too busy to take my call. I never got a call back. No mini bar or fridge as promised. No amenities either. I think the worst part of the entire stay here besides terrible back pain from the horrible bed was the dining experience. I ordered a coffee, soda, and glass of water with breakfast. I heard the waiter bad talking me to another employee. He was not being discrete about his opions of me. I guess its not ok to order three different drinks for yourself in the morning. Its just disgraceful apparently to the wait staff. I didn't know. Anyway I complained about him to the hostess and her response (she was sympathetic) was: he gets many complaints and the manager does nothing about it. So there it is folks. If you want to over pay, stay in a crappy run down place, and get disrespected by some staff members this is the place for you!
