Convenient to Broadway Theaters

Posted 12-Feb-2016
Pros: I enjoyed the location being so close to Times Square, theaters and restaurants.
Location: Theaters, bars, restaurants, pubs, all within easy walking distance.
The hotel staff, particularly the concierge, was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable with firm mattress and a warm but lightweight comforter. My only complaint was the temperature of the room. It became too warm during the first night. The hotel engineer was responsive he turned off the heater and opened the window. It seemed an odd thing to do, i.e. let the winter air in during February, but it worked. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The concierge was patient when coaching us in how to navigate to famous New York landmarks. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet at Cafe Charlotte. The food was good and I did not have to bundle up and go outside. I particularly like the location. It was so close to the theater I could easily walk.

The only problem was that there was dust on the top edge of the bed. Other than that it was a really good experience. 8 definitely will be coming back.

Nice hotel - Central to EVERYTHING!

Posted 09-Feb-2016
Pros: The room was spacious, the bed was huge, the view was amazing. The location was fantastic, staff were extremely friendly and had good conversation.
Cons: The amenities! A hotel with such a high rating should have free Wi-fi and free continental breakfast. Room service food needs a major improvement.
Location: The location is amazing! Places nearby are Madison Square Garden, countless theaters! Cinemas, Red Lobster is 5 minutes away. Empire state building.
This was my 1st trip to New York solo and my 1st time staying at a New York Hotel. I was celebrating my 25th birthday and had such an amazing time! I got to the hotel and was greeted with such a warm welcome. The young man who checked me in (REUBEN) was lovely and had good conversation. While checking me in he noticed from my passport that my birthday was coming up and he upgraded my room from a Standard room to a King size room with a Times Square view on the 41st floor. The view and the room were amazing. I cannot express how amazing my room was! I had a ticket to see the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, I also had a ticket to see "The Color Purple" both events were walking distance from the hotel, Madison Square Garden is 15 minutes away, the Jacob's theater was 5 minutes away! The subway was just outside the door, shopping opportunities are everywhere. Everything a tourist could hope for. When I checked out of the hotel the gentlemen who organised the airport transfers were so helpful and friendly. Tim and my driver Mike made my last couple of hours at the hotel so much fun. My only grievance was the fact that the Wi-fi is not free as stated on the website! It costs $12.95 per day. For the price you pay to stay at the hotel the Wi-fi and a continental breakfast should be included in the overall price. I plan on visiting New York again during the summer and I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again. I would return to this hotel for the location alone

We loved it!

Posted 09-Feb-2016
Pros: location
Location: Broadway, and Times Square was a blast! We saw a play and went to a comedy club and had dinner. Back out the n next day and had a nice breakfast.
This was a last minute decision and we had no plans on staying in city. Price was great and room was comfortable and we were happy not to have to rush home. Everyone was delightful!

Nice, but small room. Had a wonderful view of Time Square from the 35th floor. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming. This is my second stay at Millennium Hotel, and would go back again without hesitation.

Hotel excellent location for theatre district

Posted 08-Feb-2016
Came into NYC for the weekend. Hotel location is great in the middle of times sq. The staff was great. :Lloyd at the front desk was pleasant and humorous and able to put up with my husband's NY attitude. The Bell captains met us at the front door and were pleasant and helpful. The con side of the hotel - needs updates in all areas. But for the price, location and staff well worth the price. Would go back again. PP
