Arrival was dealt with politely & promptly. Room was quite clinical, modern, sleek … and that was we expected. Room was very clean and was serviced every day - there wasn’t loads of clothes storage, but sufficient for our 4 nights. There was a section to store an open case and all that you needed. Housekeeping staff were friendly and did a great job for our room.
The umbrella in the room was very helpful - with tear off bags in the foyer to take out and use when retreating indoors out of the rain, to cover the wet brolly while in and out of shops, restaurants.
The staff in Wilson hotel eatery were very obliging - very friendly and made us feel at home. Rachel was very helpful, taking time for answering some questions we posed about using the subway and at our request she also confirmed how to deal with receipts and actioning tips appropriately. She was such a big help and understood some questions that some staff struggled with at reception (some have English as their 2nd language and it was maybe difficult for them to grasp our accent).
PLEASE NOTE: The hotel has pics of a beautiful lower dining area and an area at the back of the hotel covered in bright decorative umbrellas - these were not open during our stay. We ate in more relaxed surroundings at the front of the hotel - we were happy with this and the food was all delicious. Highly recommend the French toast. Tiffany arranged a smart taxi for us to JFK. A very good stay thank you.
