Location was fantastic, and everyone was incredibly friendly. However, we weren't able to check in as scheduled because the room was not ready yet. After 45 minutes of waiting, I decided to settle for a downgrade (I had specifically paid a little extra and booked a room on a high floor for my kids' first trip to NYC, and we ended up on a lower floor.) Then after 24 hours, the a/c couldn't get the room below 80 degrees, and after several empty promises to send someone to fix it, they finally told me that nobody could look at it - so we ended up moving AGAIN, to a room on the third floor, where the view was a brick wall. The elevators worked when they felt like it, so we ended up using the stairs most of the time. The restroom downstairs, near the breakfast area, was closed on day 2 and stayed that way for the rest of the week. Overall, it was a nice place, but organization and maintenance could have been better.

The hotel has an excellent location to take the subway or any other public transportation. Room was clean, easy access to amenities. The staff is friendly and overall a nice place to stay.
