Right in the Heart of Times Square

Posted 25-Aug-2015
Pros: After a busy and noise filled day, this hotel was a much needed respite and way to recharge for another day /night in NYC.
Cons: Elevator area tends to get really crowded... maybe move the Concierge desk; trade with the Hilton Points desk.
If you want to be in the "middle" of everything... stay here! Quiet inside the hotel, very clean and the staff are VERY friendly.

Room was very spacious and clean with large window and lots of light. No noise whatsoever from the street. Very accommodating staff and service. Check-in was uneventful and cheerful staff. Although on 42nd street and not the "best" of locations, it was within walking distance to everything and certainly felt safe at all times. Would return without hesitation.

Good location

Posted 19-Aug-2015
Pros: Good location with lots to see. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly.
Cons: They need to clean the mop they are using to clean the bathrooms in the rooms. The bathroom smelled like urine when we arrived.
The location is good as it provides quick access to the subway with lines that can get you wherever you want to go.

very nice hotel, like a safe haven in a busy area

Posted 17-Aug-2015
the hotel was right in busy tourist area and all those aspects of times square were readily available . . . yet, you could slip into the hotel from the busy street and find somewhat of an upscale sanctuary . . . very enjoyable stay

Overnight stay in Times Square

Posted 17-Aug-2015
Pros: location, cleanliness and friendliness of staff
We had a layover in New York before flying to Florida early the next morning. Taxi from JFK to the hotel was efficient. Bags dropped off with the concierge on the street and brought to our room within a few minutes. Check in was quick and easy. Fabulous room on 40th floor with a view of the Empire State Building. Excellent location for exploring Times Square.

Near Times Square

Posted 09-Aug-2015
This hotel is in a great location to Times Square. There are two close subway stations, as well as numerous bus stops. The hotel looks more clean online than it actually is. The rooms are clean, however they have a weird smell & the sheets & blankets felt damp. Like the air was humid or something in the room. The concierge was great, bellmen were super nice & the front desk staff was nice. Overall this is a good hotel. I liked staying near Times Square for our first visit since it's close to the action & it's easy to navigate the subway to this loacation, however, we will not stay near Times Square for future visits. There are too many solicitors & people begging for money outside the hotel at night. Other areas in Manhattan seem to have a more calm feeling. This hotel is nice overall.
