Great Stay

Posted 25-Sep-2016
Loved everything about this hotel. Staff was pleasant and helpful, the rooms were a great size & very comfortable. The location was perfect to get to everything we wanted. Parking was easy, no valet but didn't need it with the garage right outside the front door. Rates were very reasonable

Fantastic hotel

Posted 12-Sep-2016
I like the fact you dont gave to wait for 3pm checkin.I arrived at 1pm and a room was available. I appreciate that a lot. So try to ask for a room if your early. Other hotels wont even do that. The room wad clean and comfy room 622. This is minor the shoulder curtsin needs to replaced it stinks and is moldy and the pillows were no longer full its fluffy at first then flat . I cant complain since they accommodated me at 1p. Im sure they will say i have to wait. Just being considerate.Right infront of the hotel is the highly rated steamed bun restaurant its full during lunch since office workers know this cheap but great food restaurant. You will enjoy this restaurant and uts cheap. Right infront are delis, dinner, restaurants and few steps is duane reade rite aid and grocery dont buy your sodas at the hotel store. The redtaurant of the hotel is being renovated and the refrigerator in the room is empty i suggest buy your good etc at grocery its cheaper. I highly recommend this hotel.

Noisey neighbours

Posted 09-Sep-2016
Great hotel, well situated to Times Square and far enough away to not be too loud. We had a problem with Noisey people in the middle of our stay, who kept us up for most of the night. I asked to be moved the following morning which was no problem. The staff are accomodting and pleasant. Behop's are very helpful. The restaurant is being refurbished and you have to go out for a drink. Despite that all round great service. Well done guys!

Nice hotel close to Times Square

Posted 07-Sep-2016
Pros: Quiet, and in the middle of all of the action.
Cons: Hotel staff can be friendlier.
Location: Rockefeller, Nintendo Store (near Rockerfeller), Times Square, Central Park, Theater District, lots of eateries, New York Times, near subway station.
This hotel was great! We were lucky enough to get a view of 48th Street instead of a brick wall (which I was dreading based on some of the reviews), and it was super quiet! We tried their dry cleaning service, and they were so accommodating to how timely we needed our stuff back (we received it back in one day!). I have to say, there is no menu in the room that I could find (room service), but there is a food shop literally 10 steps away from the hotel, and there are plenty of restaurants that surround the building. If you book here you'll be walking distance from the Rockefeller, Time Square, Central Park, you'll be in the Theater District (I highly advise The Book of Mormon, which is literally 200 feet away), and you're a few blocks away from Pizza Cafe, which is, in my opinion, the best pizza in New York that we ate at (so far!). You're also a few blocks from a subway that will take you to lower Manhattan if you so wish! Great location, the hotel staff was nice, but I still think New Yorker's who are working could be nicer and more friendlier. The operator was great though, and it's amazing how many people with different accents you can get transferred to. Overall, great experience and I would book here again.

near to all amenities

Posted 07-Sep-2016
Pros: Conviniance
Cons: maybe a little renovation
Location: near Times Sq , Broadway , metro and all trendy and regular shoppers paradise
This place ( looks like it needs a reno) is very near to all amenities ,Time sq,broadway, metro . Definite secured late night . However they had "breakfast" included on their website and we were told that their breakfast area is under reno. I think that should have been TOLD in advance...we could have gotten similar experience at near by hotel at same price with breakfast. All in All its on Time SQ so very convenient.

Convenient location

Posted 04-Sep-2016
We stayed for four nights, Sept '16. The room was comfortable and clean. Our primary goal was shopping and sight seeing. The hotel is approx. 10 minutes walk from Times Square and 5th Avenue. The hotel did not have any catering/ restaurant facilities but it is surrounded by eateries. We enjoyed our time in New York.
