I stayed here they charge my credit card 3 times for another night and I never stayed there. Me and my wife were stranded in NY because they caused $1000 to be on hold with the bank. The hotel manager Oliver did nothing to help me but blame my bank and not take responsibility very bad customer service.

Great hotel that is centrally located

Posted 26-Aug-2016
Pros: Friendly staff and convenience of being next door to Grand Central Terminal.
Cons: The only thing I would recommend is better pillows.
Location: Being next door to Grand Central and in quick walking distance to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, just to name a few.
I reviewed a lot of hotels, before I booked here and I'm glad I chose the Grand Hyatt. I took the red-eye in from LA and I was not looking forward to waiting around until check in time at 4pm. The gracious staff was nice enough to let me have an early check in at 8:30am. The room was way better than what I expected it to be. I was very impressed with the size and cleaniness of it. The best part of this hotel, was being right next door to Grand Central Terminal. Whenever we wanted to go somewhere, we were just a few steps away from a train. That alone was well worth the price of staying here. The staff was super friendly and I have not one bad thing to say about this hotel. My party and I came to an agreement, that the Grand Hyatt will be our hotel of choice from here on out.

Grand Club room at Grand Hyatt

Posted 26-Aug-2016
Arrived at around 3.45 pm.The separate Grand Club was not open but fortunately the other check in line was short. Our room was on the 16th floor with the window looking out on the Chrysler building.Room was big.We had a large walk in wardrobe, sofa, safe, iron and king bed.The room was great although looking a bit worn in places and certainly could have done with better cleaning.Quite a few places were dusty and the floor needed a better clean The Grand Club Lounge was on the same floor and we used this everyday.Your room key provided entry.Breakfast was served from 6.30am during the week.It had said continental but there was always scrambled eggs, bacon a few times and turkey sausage available. There was cereal, toast, bagels, fresh fruit, pastries, yoghurt, cold meats, cheeses etc. During the day tea and coffee was always available along with cookies, fruit and yoghurt coated raisins. There were latte/espresso machines as well as regular coffee. The bottled water, soft drinks and juice were in chilled cabinets so you just helped yourself From around 5pm there was food available with usually 1 hot dish. There was a selection of bread, cheeses and salad. The hot dish varied from pasta, chicken skewers. You could get beer and wine using the "honor" bar where you helped yourself but filled in a slip of paper to put in the box.It was $6 for a bottle of beer and $7 for wine. This was cheaper than the downtairs bar where the beer was $9!.

Excellent location

Posted 24-Aug-2016
The Grand Hyatt is a great location for jumping on the subway at Grand Central and for having a delicious but inexpensive breakfast at Blake and Todd's. The hotel has a lovely lobby area and we did upgrade our room in order to have a larger bathroom (3 females = bigger bathroom). The best 24 hour pizza place is Uncle Paul's on Vanderbilt which is a 5 minute walk from the Hyatt. I would stay here again as it was functional and clean and had very helpful staff. It isn't the newest or most luxurious but it was comfortable.

Pros: The bed was super comfortable.
Cons: The drainage in the shower was very slow. I was standing in water by the time I finished my shower. A microwave in the room would have been nice
Location: This hotel is basically right on top of Grand Central Station. There are a lot of conveniences near by.
Check-in was a breeze and the staff was very helpful.

Gutes Hotel mit einigen Abstrichen.

Hotel allgemein in Ordnung. Service top. Zimmer sauber, aber abgewohnt. Badezimmer in schlechtem Zustand. Straße sehr laut, Fenster nicht abgedichtet.
