Great location

Posted 27-Jul-2016
Pros: My room was never cleaned...I stayed there three nights/ four days and my room was never cleaned the entire visit
Cons: Better organization, more amenities
Location: The hotel is off Broadway in Chelsea there is plenty to do- great restaurants and close to Time Square and Mid Town
This hotel is perfect if you just need a place to sleep. However, if you intend to: work, relax, go for a quick work-out, entertain (in your room), sleep on a comfortable mattress, order room service, book a spa package or lounge in the lobby...this is not your hotel! I have been to Manhattan many times for may different reasons and every hotel I stay-at have a lot to offer, however the FlatIron hotel only has one purpose and that's to provide one with four walls and a mattress. I was not impressed and will not be returning.

Muy cómodos

Posted 25-Jul-2016
Comodidad, excelente ubicación, limpio, habitaciones amplias, el desayuno puede estar mejor. Más opciones de frutas no tanto pan. Todo lo demás me encanto y si volvería !

Excellent service and a swanky rooftop

Posted 26-Apr-2016 on Hotels
Loved everything about this hotel. Front desk staff was amazing. Complimentary bottles of water upon request, and a glass of wine upon checkin. Breakfast included. Housekeeping immediately reported I'd left something in the room. Will definitely be staying here again!

Slightly tired hotel in a good location

Posted 23-Apr-2016
Pros: Location and room
Cons: Decor and prices particularly the bar.
Location: Good location away from the chaos of uptown with a number of good restaurants and cafes nearby.
The hotel could do with a refresh. It is in a good location and the staff are friendly and try to help if a little vague at times. Breakfast needs to be re-examined it is not inviting. The bar whilst lively is very expensive and not worth the money. The resort fee is unclear what it is for, either include it in the price or get rid of it, it feels like a rip off. A hotel with great potential that needs some work and not just cosmetics.

Tacky 4-Star

Posted 15-Apr-2016 on Hotels
Disappointed. Even though the location and surroundings of the hotel itself is excellent, the accommodation turned out to be a disappointment. If you are planning a somewhat relaxed stay, this Hotel is not for you. The almost daily party events in the lobby area are heard up until the 5th Floor - and if you are accommodated on the top floors, you will be awakened by the loud and vibrant air condition fan mounted onto the roof of the hotel. Though the staff are extremely nice and helpful, the rooms comfort and fixtures have seen better days. From my comparison, this is not a 4-Star accommodation - even for Manhattan. Advice: worth to spend the extra buck and stay at some of the other hotels nearby. The location itself is excellent.
