Great hotel very central.

Posted 25-Apr-2017
Pros: As above
Cons: The tipping system although to be fair this is an issue all over the city
Location: As above
The only complaint that we had was the cost of food but it generally is high in the Times Square area. We ate only once at the hotels facilities due to this. More money was taken from my daughter's card to cover the gratuity than we had authorised on the receipt. The hotel denied this was the case and said it was the bank but this had not happened before. The hotel itself though could not be faulted. Very central. Helpful staff. Great location all attractions either within walking distance or easy access to public transport.

Close to everything

The room was spacious and clean, the staff was accommodating. The only request I could make is the rooms should have a mini fridge. Other wise our trip was perfect. We will stay here again!

Money making machine

Posted 22-Apr-2017
I would not ever stay here again. They rip you off for everything! Twenty dollars to print three pages (tickets to a game), really! If you have a child look out the television entertainment for them will cost you big. No room refrigerator forcing you to buy their overpriced stuff. The quality of the room and service was substandard (like a dirty sheet being left behind) while having to hold on to your wallet. To add insult to injury you end up final bill at the end of your where you're charged an additional $30 a night for some service fee which should have been included in your total Expedia bill. Who's at fault on that the hotel or Expedia? Makes me question do I use Expedia again? I've traveled a lot and never have I paid so much for so little. Never again!

Very central. Good base.

Posted 19-Apr-2017
Very handy for TimeSquare, so good base for sight seeing. Good sized room with enormous bed. Clean bathroom (shower room) good water pressure, generous with towels and toiletries. Quiet enough for a city. Only lift access to rooms, but never had to wait for more than couple of minutes. Beware additional hotel 'tax' not included in holiday cost.

Very nice hotel with great amenities. Big rooms especially for NYC. Also right in the middle of the action!

The front desk was never welcoming or polite.

Posted 17-Apr-2017
Pros: On the positive, the room was a nice size and the location was fantastic for our needs.
Cons: Everything above, but most of all customer service.
Location: It was right near time square and the theater district, lots to do and see.
From the beginning our experience was less than pleasant. Entered our room to find a dirty towel on the bathroom floor and the mirror in the bedroom dirty. When I called the front desk, they didn't even say "I am sorry". I had to ask for housekeeping to come. I was treated better from the bell hop about it and the person from housekeeping who came to take care of it. The room definitely needed up dating. The leather on the bed was cracking in parts, the wall paper in the bathroom was peeling, there was rust on the bathroom vanity that they tried to cover up with portable small mirror. The bathtub was definitely need of repair and updating. After the second day when we received a stained (with black marks) bath towels, they did credit us back the 30.00 dollars a day charge that we received for "services", such as the internet, I don't know what other services we were paying for. You were charged to use the computers and printer (per page) in the business room.

We appreciate the feedback, Cindy. We're disappointed that your time with us was less than ideal. Your experience is not on par with the level of service we're accustomed to providing. We hold ourselves to a higher standard. Your happiness and satisfaction are important to us so we'll be addressing your concerns with the appropriate members of our team moving forward. We hope you give us another opportunity to demonstrate the high-caliber service we're capable of sharing with our guests. Warm regards, Cara L. Social Media Manager
