Hotel was 4 blocks away from main area in a safe location. Staff were great helpful in every way.

Hotel does not have a pool, there is only valet parking. Water in bath takes forever to warm up. Restaurant waitress was not too happy to assist us when we tried to have dinner there.

Close and cheap

Eh. It was close to universal studios and cheaper than other hotels. Thats what I went for that's what I got. But reviews on here say 3.8 . I wouldnt call it a 4 star hotel..

Super hotel for summer downtown stays

Pros: The rooms are very clean, have microwave, free wi-fi, refrig, hair dryer, wonderful bath accoutrements, and excellent prices in the summer
Cons: Add a doorman or combination doorman / bellman. There is no help for luggage at the entrance, and the front desk people stand and watch you struggle
Location: Outstanding location for downtown meetings or visits. Can walk to French Quarter or take trolley. Adjac to nice park. Restaurant is great food & value
Best tip is to avoid renting a car for quick, downtown stays since parking is $38 per day for the hotel alone, plus wherever you take the car (parking in the French Quarter is way way not worth it, you're already within walking distance). Best value for hotel transpo is to take Airport Shuttle at MSY (there are plenty of kiosks in the airport on the baggage level) for only $44 roundtrip. The hotel is right on the trolley route, bus stops on corner, and there is Uber.

They should be classified as a motel because if it was a hotel you get service like helping with luggage and

Pros: Location
Cons: Up date interior.
Location: As stated, is in good walking distance to Canal street, Bourbon street, and dome.
The best thing was the Café that is connected, good food. Quaint older hotel.

Staff did not provide all info related to parking around hotel. We stayed over Sunday and they did not mention that there was free street-side parking on Sunday or overnight. Room is quite small.

Hotel has no parking and will cost you for valet. They would not refund any cost for not making it on one of the day's booked! I recommend the Hilton!!!

Perfect location to explore the city and the french quarter - just minutes away! The rooms are spacious and good equiped!

Better than expected

The hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating. My flight came in early and I was able to check in 3 hours before check in time. The room was spacious and clean. I enjoyed the fruit infused water available in the lobby and the cafe next door had great breakfast. This hotel is a great central location to convention center, Riverwalk and French Quarter.
