Pros: Quiet, comfortable beds, clean, nice room amenities.
Cons: Communication between Blake Hotel and Expedia.
I had a good experience and a good night's sleep. This hotel met my needs in every way.

Will recommend this hotel

Posted 16-May-2016
Pros: The front desk staff are the first staff members a visitor comes into contact with, therefore first impressions count - the rest fell into place.
Cons: Can't think of anything to improve on.
Location: The location was good, an easy walk to the entertainment areas, shops and the French Market.
The hotel lobby was modern and inviting, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We unfortunately only stayed one night, but would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises. The room was a good size with all the amenities expected, and had a great view over New Orleans.

The room was extremely small and cluttered. I had to ask for an iron and more clean towels multiple times....

Shelter in a storm...

Posted 09-May-2016
We stayed at the Blake during a period of rather intense thunderstorms...which produced some minor street corner flooding...The Blake was a great place to stay...walking distance to the French Quarter, riverfront, etc....Very clean and well tended...we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone...

Tiny rooms, and SOME have no windows.

Posted 02-May-2016
Comfy beds and pillows. Bathrooms could be updated and cleaner. Staff friendly and helpful. In a good area , felt very safe at all times. Close to public transit. Nice park for fresh air or just stretching your legs, on next block. no pens or note paper in rooms. When you leave the hotel for the day tell front desk your room is ready to clean- they are short staffed for housekeeping- this will help room to be put together at an earlier time. not a bad place for a few days.

Good location but need to work on customer support

Posted 02-May-2016
Pros: Good location
Cons: Needs an update of facilities
Location: Close to street cars, French Quarter, WW II museum, great places to eat near by
Room checkin problem, room assigned substandard small window view of narrow ally. Second room had to call for towels. Not worth what we paid for the room would not recommend.

Loved the location

Posted 28-Apr-2016
Pros: Quiet comfortable rooms; we had upgraded to the deluxe rooms so had plenty of room.
Cons: The parking garage is a few blocks away; wish the valet parking was cheaper. Would have enjoyed a break to eat in their cafe. Which was quite good.
Location: St. Charles streetcar runs right by the hotel and the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, and Harrahs are within easy walking distance.
Trey was the best when checking us in. He gave us a lot of information about the area in addition to the basics needed. We were there for two days to see all we could see.

Ottimo hotel nel CBD di New Orleans

Posted 26-Apr-2016
Hotel posizionato a pochi metri da Canal street e davanti ad una fermata dello Streetcar. Area molto sicura e tranquilla anche di sera. Hotel curato e camere ampie e pulite. Personale cortese e veloce nel rispondere alle richieste. Consigliato!
