Heater broken

I was given a double queen room when I paid for a King but they ended up accomodating me and put me in a king room after I complained. Also, the heater was broken so we woke up freezing in the middle of the night.

Blake Hotel New Orleans

Room was cleaned early 4/5 days and cleaned well. Didn't clean coffee maker one day. Having a mini fridge and microwave in room is a plus. Great location in CBD

Nice room but elevator was very slow and wasn't working one night. Staff was great and friendly! Overall, great experience.

Good hotel at Lafayette square

The hotel was perfect for viewing the Mardi Gras parades as it is right on St Charles which is convenient for the street car access also. Clean room, great restaurant in the hotel. No dinner though. Only major complaint is the lack of water pressure in the shower. Very low.

Fantastic location and amazing Staff

Pros: The location is fantastic close to EVERTHING
Location: Trolly outside doors, Walking distance to bourbon street ,Royal street and Canal its all at your fingertips
Ok first impression Trey and Ray so welcoming and friendly. Kept our luggage til check in. Told us how to get around and gave us a map thank you boys. Gave us the best location for our room 507 right by elevators perfect. The room was street view so some trolley noise not an issue for us but morning birds in trees across park were very loud so remember this. Restaurant attached again very friendly and amazing food . if you buy a morning coffee cheap refills all day. Only one elevator slow at busy times but again no biggy for us. Its an older building reno for many small rooms but very well layed out. You really are blocks from everything ie French quarter ,royal st and canal street. With the trolley right out front it goes to the garden area ie zoo, aquarium park by all the mansions all the route exact cash for trolley $3.00 for 24 hrs $9.00 for three day pass so worth it you can go on any and all Trolleys from one end to the other of them best way to check out the area. I can not say enough about the Trey and Ray they really take care of their guests. When we return we will stay here always

Great Location

This is the second time we have stayed at The Blake. The staff is really nice and very helpful. Check in is easy and fast. The rooms are comfy and clean. The trolley runs right in front and makes it easy to get around. If you don't want to use the trolley, you can walk to Bourbon street very easily as well. I will stay here every time I go. I highly recommend it.

Found pubic hairs on floor, tub and head hair in one of the beds. Room was very cold in adequate heating draft coming from windows. No services directory in room also no hotel layout map telling you where to find ice machine, vending machine or anything else the hotel may have had. Was told they had valet parking on site but when I arrived at the hotel come to find out you must allowed the valet to drive your car off the property to a garage two blocks away. And the fee for valet was $38 per day. This is something they should have told me prior to my reservation

Dirty and small

The first room I was assigned had no window. Bed comforter was stained and unwashed, bed sheets were stained, carpet was stained, room was small, cabinet door to refrigerator could not open all the way, because the desk was in the way.

Convenient location

The hotel is within easy walking distance to the French Quarter, WW II museum and other attractions. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. It was a pleasant stay (four nights) for both my wife and I.
