Only a 20 minute drive from New Orleans. Safe and right off the highway for easy access. The staff was amazing. The only negative was that the elevator was out of service but it won’t stop me from staying again in the future.

I wouldn’t let my worse enemy stay at this run down hotel. This place should be closed and rebuilt…..terrible and disgusting place to stay. Don’t put your money and family in this hotel.

Let me start by saying the room itself was not terrible. Beds, sheets, showers, and towels were all clean. The bed was probably more comfortable than mine at home. The bathroom was extremely small for a room that could occupy up to 4 guest, again not a huge deal just a little inconvenient. Hotel was in a safe area, easy parking, well lit lot. Staff was always SUPER friendly and helpful. However, the hotel does have an odor to it and the warmer it got outside, the worse the odor was inside. We had to have help from the front desk EVERY SINGLE TIME we needed in our room. Our key cards never worked, not even once. That was quite the hassle and a bit frustrating. We stayed five days and weren’t offered a different room once. The hotel was not at capacity during our stay, a different room with working key pads would have made a huge difference for us (and probably for the poor night shift girl who had to leave the desk every single night to manually unlock our door for us). There are not a lot of dinning options in the area, there is a Waffle House next door but other than that, you either have to go up to the next two exits or into New Orleans for food. But let’s be honest we were going into NO anyway. Overall, the stay wasn’t terrible. I would have just like it to be more convenient in some areas.

Elevator did not work, no WiFi, one room smelled moldy, 2nd room we were given was very dusty. Coffee was watered down and breakfast options, well there was no breakfast options! Stay away from this hotel, not sure how they have such high rating on Expedia.

We are sorry for the inconvenience unfourtunately a storm knocked out our elevator and our wifi we are working on getting them fixed as for the breakfast we were most likely waiting on a delivery and were out of alot but we do apologize and will work on all of these issues

The hotel room was very clean but really needs to be updated, especially the bathroom. The shower door wouldn't stay closed, and the shower floor was extremely slippery. I had to put a towel on the shower floor so I or my family wouldn't slip. Although the website states that a hot breakfast is served, the only hot item is a waffle. I thought it would include more like eggs and bacon/sausage.

I love that this property is conveniently located to I 10. It is clean, it is in a safe area, and it is right next to a Waffle House! My only complaint is the air freshener in the lobby is overpowering and triggers my allergies.

Just like a motel room, only a bit smaller!
The room was noticibly smaller than a conventional motel room, but was modern, clean and cpmfprtable, with a good bed. It was tight for two people though. The toilet was in a tiny room with the shower (no tub), and the one light switch triggered an exhaust fan as well as the light, so you had to listen to the fan running even if you weren't showering. Also , in our particular room the hingles of the shower door made a very loud skeeking noise when you opened or shut the door. On the plus side the room was very affordable, so overall it worked out. Better for a single traveler than for a couple, though.

the shower stall floor was dirty..like black on the floor..The bed was very hard... was NOT a 8 out of 10 like we saw posted ...it was at best a 2 star out of 5..and that was pushing it..the breakfast was Waffle, packaged pastry from Sam's Club. and yogart. For $89 I expected better..but maybe not..

Needs to improve the smell
When you first walk into the lobby, the smell of old musty odor hits you. Is a very strong smell. The room was ok, thank goodness I brought my febreeze. The shower was very slippery, slanted round to the drain. Yes I did fall in the shower, when I first stepped in, it had two strips to keep you from slipping, it needs about 20. Then bright and early Saturday morning, banging started at 0700 and didnt stop till 0830. Was told it was kids and others had complained also.
