We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay here. All rooms here at the hotel have air conditioning, the room you were in have a microwave and a mini fridge. Had we know you did not enjoy your room during your three day stay.

The character of the building is fun. The staff are amazing and accommodating. Even though an older hotel, the condition could be improved. In our opinion, no excuse for the broken a/c’s and fire alarms not being repaired. The smell of mildew in one room was so strong I couldn’t even walk in. It makes it harder on the staff to do their jobs when the owners or managers? do not help improve these things. That includes the bed being broken and absolutely uncomfortable. Again, the staff worked with us and made our stay doable- otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to stay. Please provide upgrades! We would absolutely return, if so. Otherwise, never again, unfortunately.

Checked in for only a few hours and checked back out! Not a very good place to stay. Wasnt ready when we got there and we arrived there at 6pm. (Check in time startwd at 3pm) They had an electrical problem in my room they were srill fixing when we got there. Then there wasnt any toilet paper, no towels, dirty, dirty, dirty!il i felt like if i stepped in the shower i would get some fungus or something. The tile was black from all the dirt and gunk. Then there wasnt any cold wayer to shower. Only hot water. I went ti ask the lady at the desk and she said it was probably because she was doing laudry. And thayvshe was probably going to be doing laubdry all night and the following night also. It was just over all a bad experience. We didnt stay!!!!!

I didn't like the fact that there was hair all over the bathroom sink. A couple spiders as well. I also could not get the AC to work with the remote. I asked for assistance and the caretaker came to my room but she couldn't get it to work. I also couldn't work the TV until she came over and explained what to do. I had no idea you had to push some buttons on the side. I would have never known. I will not be staying here again. It's worth paying more to not have those experiences.

Owners are awesome and personable. Room was clean and quiet. Provided with all the usual hotel stuff. Easily extended our stay at the original room rate. Definitely a dive hotel but worth the stay.

We stayed the weekend here. Its old its in need of alot of upgrades.... but beyond all of the needs thus place has, the Ladies that WORK there make it TOTALLY worth the stay. !!! Those ladies went so far above everything to correct the check in issue... The room was amazing the next night. We WILL return...

Overall room was nice and quiet. It’s not as clean as I would’ve liked but for the price and area it’s not a bad deal! Over all enjoyed the experience!

Perks: The room was close to the French Quarter, easy to get to, and right beside a shopping center & a Starbucks! Management was super sweet and helpful!!:) Hard truths: our key didn't lock the door, which made us uneasy at night. The staircase to our room/patio was a fall hazard, traverse with care. Overall, we definitely got our money's worth, would consider staying again!

It was me and my 2 kids. Ages 4&5. A grocery store was just across the street. Easy parking. Secure location. Comfortable and clean rooms. Definitely a cure boutique New Orleans vibe. We ended up staying an extra night bc it was that great. Will stay here again! Also the staff made you feel like family. Thank you again!

It was okay
The hotel was located in a safe neighborhood with a grocery store a short walking distance away. We were able to park for free on the street since we got there at 3:30pm. We didn’t have to move our car until we left and we were able to walk to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street in about 20 minutes. The hotel has a gate to get to the rooms. The downside was that the hotel is pretty old and worn-down. It smelled really bad in the room and I couldn’t sleep at night because the pillow case and sheets smelled like blood. We didn’t see any blood anywhere thankfully. No bed bugs either. It was just the smell. The bathroom wasn’t that clean either. There were random hairs in the shower and on the towels. The walls are also pretty thin and we could hear everything that was going on outside. Overall it was okay because we were only in there to sleep and shower.

If you like cold, this is the place for you
The room is cold and stayed cold all night. Took me to the FIRST room and No Heat. SECOND Room, TV wouldn't work. THIRD Room, had only a space heater. Was Told they work excellent. NOPE, didn't!! It only works when you stand in front of it and it didn't heat up the room or the bathroom Even when I went in to the bathroom and turn the heater towards it. Oh and the internet wouldn't work...... Stay here when it was Old Town and the rooms were excellent.. looks to me like there needs to be a management change!! Not ever planning on staying here again... Every time I come to New Orleans I always think of this place and remember the great place it used to be! I got with Old Town but, well....

Property was safe with a locked gate to get in courtyard. Great walking neighborhood with colorful houses. Close by food co op to grocery shop & art gallery all in 1 building & another Mardi Gras Zone grocery store with variety of items all easily within walking distance. Restaurants & coffee shops woven into the neighborhood. 10 minute walk to Frenchmen St, greatest music in the world. Art galleries on Royal, shops on Decatur, French Market & Bourbon St. All within walking distance. Can’t beat price for this location.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Interior was pretty rough, plaster missing with exposed brick, shower was tiny with only a few minutes of hot water. Thermostat didn’t work the first night because we didn’t realize you needed to remove it from the wall and hold two inches from the unit to adjust. Pretty quiet neighborhood about a mile from entertainment area of French Quarter.

My stay was great our room was cozy and accommodating plenty of towels and perfect size for a family of 6. Excellent area about 5 minutes from Jackson square staff was nice and friendly. A grocery store conveniently across the street. We had a heater which is great because we visited during December and the ac works amazing! Parking was good it’s off the street. Area was quiet and people were friendly. Very historic love it.

A rat came out of under my bed and the property smelled like pee. There was no staff to see about this issue. It was a really bad experience, the door was easy to open meaning I didnt feel safe leaving my things in the room.

Sorry to hear about your experience, but you was with us for two days and we could have fixed any issue you had with your room. As for as the property smelling like urine that is very inaccurate. Our courtyard is scrubbed weekly and cleaned daily

it was very upsetting the room was nothing like in the pictures it was dirty,one of the beds was broke there were holes in the floor,unexcused for then left a couple of personal things behind and when i called in the evening they said one of the items was there but the other wasn't they were both together for what i paid for i could have gotten something else better i really think you should take the pictures done if the rooms aren't going to like them

Service at Olde Town was very friendly. Rooms were pretty old and worn. Walls are very thin, so there were some loud moments. We had someone knocking on our door at 6am one morning and someone knocking on our neighbors door at 5am the next morning. Location is ideal for walking into town.
