Breakfast was top notch! The make your own omelettes station was fabulous. The hotel was clean and safe. Parking was only available through valet and was expensive. The parking garage could not accommodate our large van. The pool was open but freezing- a heated pool would have been fabulous. Hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the French Quarter.

We were a party of three, rooms 504, 505 and 405. For some reason we were all designated rooms for handicapped people, which made us feel strange. Also, one of our party in room 504 was bitten two nights in a row by what we assume to be bed bugs. Management cleaned the mattress and the problem went away. But I feel a discount is warranted for this problem.

Embassy suites is my favorite place to stay when I’m traveling. I did not like the fact that I booked a presidential suite and when I got there, the person at the desk told me there was a biohazard issue with my room. I really felt as though they lied and gave my booking away. Instead of letting me know before my arrival, the staff at the front desk did not make me aware of a room change until I arrived. I booked the presidential suite for a reason. It was very disappointing but I accepted the downgrade & still tried to enjoyed my stay despite the lack of professionalism. Luckily, I am not a controversial person.

I was very happy with the King suite. It has a small but functional balcony. There was a small chair in the living area which fit on the balcony and I was able to sit outside and watch the sunset. That was a plus. I was on the 13th floor which was nice. That’s my lucky number too. The room was clean and there was no carpet. It has very nice Luxury vinyl plank floors. The bed was very comfortable too.

Would love to review the rooms but we never stayed there. We got there to get the rooms and were told we had to be placed on a call list. No explanation. And when I asked how long was told no idea. We had to wait in the lobby. Our plane was late so we were tired and hungry, there was nine of us and three kids under 12. After almost two hours I was THEN told that there was a flood in the area where the rooms are and we’d not be able to get any rooms there. They then transferred us to another hotel. Why they didn’t tell us this immediately, and start the transfer process as soon as we got there? Why make us all wait 2 hours? I’d never good here again. I gave staff 3 stars only because the girl that helped us after our two hour wait was very nice. But otherwise the staff at the counter was terrible!

Overall, it was noisy in the hotel and inside the room as the A.C. was loud. The phone in the room did not work. No live person ever answered the phone at the front desk when I’d try to contact staff with my cell phone.

Hotel is run down, showing age. Our room had a odd outside area that was not a balcony. There was trash, cigarette butts and a razor blade (not a razor but just a blade) on this patio. Had to go get our own car from valet parking because they only had one person working.

The property was great , the staff was absolutely fantastic!! So kind , informative and just overall took care of all needs. The hotel offered breakfast which was great and a happy hour. It was in a great location convenient to everything.

I am a person with a mobility disability and I requested a shower which I was not provided. I asked for a shower chair to use with in the tub and I was told several times the chair would be sent right to my room. I was there for two night and never received the chair. As I was checking out and made another complaint to the staff I was told that the hotel didn't have any shower chairs available but no one bothered to tell me the truth. I was highly upset that I was lied to the entire time. I will file a complaint with the hotel and never stay at that location again nor will I recommend others, disabled or not to stay there. They put my safety at risk.

Brick walls like an old office or school, not very sound proof. Short walk (15-20mins) to French Quarter, best to be with someone else for the walk. Crazy convenient to get to cruise port. less than 10 minute walk, dropped off bags got in line, very glad we picked location.

We checked in quickly and had maintenance come to our room quickly when we needed service on our room safe. There is an outside pool that is unheated and basically unusable. Happy hour tickets only allow for 2 drink tickets to be used per day. Staying at this same hotel years ago we could enjoy more snacks and drinks which was a true happy hour.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay. We were close to the cruise terminals and a short walk to the French Quarter and the trolley stop for the Garden District. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. We will definitely stay there again. Our only issue was noise on our second night coming from outside, but it is New Orleans.
