Thank you for the compliments. Regarding the staircase, there is a flood light which is either in "motion detection" mode, "continuous on" or off. Perhaps you did not have it on. The staircase, itself, is up to code, it is wide with a hand rail. We have had a number of guests with disabilities (foot brace, hip and knee problems) stay at our property with no complaints. We do mention in our description that there are stairs and people should note that and make a decision appropriate to their condition.

We are very sorry to learn of your dissatisfaction with your stay at Harmony Hill Farm. It is unfortunate that you chose to voice your complaints in a review rather than at any time during your visit. During the course of welcoming you and walking the property, we encouraged you to contact us if there was anything you needed, and re-iterated this with a follow-up text message the next day. Had you given us a chance, we would have tried to work with you on the accommodation to help you feel comfortable, and it certainly would have been easy to address most of the issues you’ve raised. We have been hosts for 4 years. Previous to your visit, all 21 VRBO reviews across 4 years have been 5 star. Total reviews as hosts with VRBO and other companies amount to 190, with an average score of +4.9 star. As Premier/Superhosts over this period, we are highly committed to providing great stays for our guests, without exception. All 30 reviews in 2021 (except yours) have been 5 stars, attesting to this commitment. To address your comments: -Bedroom Number: We offer 2 bedrooms, 2 queen size beds and an inflatable bed to be used in the common space. You are the first customer who has booked with us thinking that we offer 3 bedrooms and 3 beds. Rather than contacting us about this disparity upon arrival, you chose to explore a storage room which is not part of the rental. This room is off limits to guests as it’s outside the main living area (which is locked), across an inner hallway and the door is closed. We’ve modified our listing so that there is no confusion that we offer 2 bedrooms and 2 beds, and a supplementary air mattress. -Cleanliness: We follow CDC covid cleaning protocols for all guests, including hand washing dishes, glasses and the coffee pot. We offer the basics for cooking consistent with VRBO guidance, and will provide a full range of supplemental culinary tools, food ingredients, etc. from our main house for those guests informing us of their needs. -Pool Furniture: We offer a teak table and umbrella, with 4 teak chairs, and 4 Tommy Bahama Classic Beach Chairs. The teak furniture ages to a silver grey patina (i.e. not dirt). We’ve selected the beach chairs for their versatility because many of our guests like to reposition them given the changing location of the sun, and the fact that they are children “friendly”. We do not state in our listing that we have lounge chairs. Again, we are committed to providing our guests with a great stay.
