The location is perfect for using our kayak, and you can tube right out our back door. A favorite pastime is watching the river go by from the three-tiered, large riverside flagstone patio. It is also a wildlife magnet, with osprey and heron fishing here. Oh, and so do the fly fishermen, as this trophy section of the river is stocked with trout from November through February directly across the river. All of this can be enjoyed from the brand-new sunroom and deck outside of this charming, well-appointed, and recently remodeled house with all of the creature comforts. The many activities of Canyon Lake, Gruene, and New Braunfels are also just a short drive away. Located on quiet river ftont end of little community of Sattler. Works well for older adults and yojnger adults with kids. The location is perfect. We had a blast watching the tubers go by and kayaking up and down the river. The porches are the best part. Very relaxing and cool under the trees. The porch, sunroom, and layout of the house was great. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room. Fun time fishing and floating the river with the kayaks! It was perfect. The house is cozy and the location is quite. We brought our Lab and felt comfortable letting him swim and explore the spillway. The bed is comfortabe - we slept like babies!!!
