Staff were courteous and always accommodating. Rooms were clean. Breakfast superb. Location within easy reach of city centre via bus, and Neustadt areas also via bus. 24/7 counter staff which was useful because we didn't arrive from Berlin until 1 a.m. Flixbus terminus 12 minute walk away at Dresden Neustadt Station.

Beautiful property and room (we were in the main building) with A/C. Dinner at the restaurant was also excellent. Great experience! Parking is limited - there are a few spots along the drive up to the hotel; otherwise, I was told there was a bigger spot but it was a bit of a walk. The room key is attached to a HEAVY weight, which is hard to carry in your pocket. I was told you could leave it at the desk daily. Another note, the elevator is down 3 steps so that could be a problem for some. Overall, we loved this castle-like hotel overlooking the river with beautiful sunsets!

Perfect location right next to the Alterplatz.
Unfortuniely, no kettle or coffee machine in the rooms. And the window is locked, with a very restricted central AC, air flow is not nice. Be aware if you care about bedding hygiene, it seems there is a blanket inside the duvet cover, and the blanket looked aged.
