Absolutely quiet and idyllic location in the holiday park Vieregge, only about 200 meters walk to the marina Vieregge - an ideal starting point for anglers and water sports. At the marina Vieregge there is a small harbor café and bistro with shops and bread service (as of 2019), boat rental and children's playground. A beauty salon with spa treatments is available in the holiday home park. Shops and restaurants in the neighboring village Neuenkirchen or (a little further away) in the cities of Bergen or Garz. Only a few kilometers away from Vieregge (via the Wittow ferry to the Wittow peninsula) lies the Schaabe, a twelve-kilometer-long spit that, with its fine sandy beach, is considered one of the most beautiful bathing beaches in Rügen. Opposite of Vieregge is the island of Hiddensee, which can also be reached by ferry from Schaprode. The well-known attractions of the island of Rügen such. Der Vermieter befindet sich in Wuppertal, die Übergabe der Schlüssel erfolgte durch den Schlüsseltresor. Die Reinigungskraft hatte wohl das Objekt vergessen (so die Aussage des Vermieters). Der Beginn der Reinigung wurde für 21:30 angekündigt, da die Reinigungskraft am anderen Ende der Insel wohnt. Nach entsprechendem Protest wurde ein Ausweichquartier für die erste Nacht in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft angeboten. Eine Putztruppe hat dann bei Dunkelheit für ca. eine Stunde noch am Anreisetag geputzt. Allerdings präsentierte sich das Haus am Folgetag auch nicht viel besser. Schmutzflecken am Boden (der Esstisch war beim Wischen nicht verstellt worden, sodass man die Kränze der Tischfüße sah), Staub und Sand hinter und unter den Möbeln, Schmutz in den Ritzen des Sofas im EG, die Toilette im EG nicht vollständig gereinigt, Spinnweben zwischen den Fenstern und den (unbedingt notwendigen) Moskitonetzen. Die Sitzkissen der Stühle waren so stark verschmutzt, dass wir sie abnehmen mussten und nicht verwendet haben. Aus dem Abfluss der Dusche kam ein übler Geruch, auch nach mehrmaligem Benutzen derselben. Die gelben und blauen Mülleimer waren im nicht zugänglichen Technikraum untergebracht, unter dem Türspalt kamen Asseln zum Vorschein. Die Möbel sind z.T. stark abgenutzt, der Strandkorb ist beschädigt (Vordach lässt sich nicht auf- und zuklappen). Da die Putzaktion vom Vortag nicht sehr erfolgreich war und der Vermieter die Chance zur Nachbesserung also nicht genutzt hatte, haben wir den zweiten Urlaubstag großteils also mit dem Putzen des Hauses verbracht, um den eigentlichen Urlaub dann auch beginnen zu können. Das Moskitonetz im Kinderzimmer war beschädigt (Spalt von 20 cm), sodass die Kinder bei geschlossenen Fenstern schlafen mussten. Der Vermieter war zwar telefonisch erreichbar, hatte aber kein Personal vor Ort, welches die Missstände in zufriedenstellender Form beseitigen hätte können. Außerdem muss so ein Objekt in regelmäßigen Zeitabständen generalgereinigt werden, was im vorliegenden Fall seit längerem nicht geschehen sein kann. Beim Verlassen des Hauses haben wir es jedenfalls wesentlich sauberer übergeben, als wir es in Empfang genommen hatten. In Summe also ein totaler Reinfall! Wie es anders geht, konnten wir in der ersten Nacht im Ausweichquartier sehen. ##### Klaus P. Mückenreich. Zum Baden oder Sonnenbaden in direkter Umgebung, nicht so geeignet. Für Hunde und zum Fahradfahren gut. Das Grundstück liegt inmitten einer Kolonie von gleichartigen überwiegend Reeddach-Häusern, die sehr ordentlich und gepflegt erscheinen, aber dicht bebaut nebeneinander stehen. Boddenblick ist sehr gut vom Balkon und ein wenig von der Terrasse aus zu haben. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und man fühlt sich gleich wohl. Es gibt auch ausreichend Insektenschutzgitter.
