My partner and I stayed at this hotel previously hence our return as the hotel staff are so accommodating. The second time round we noticed many improvements, so was even better and pre-arranged to stay in the same sea view room we had during our first stay! I would defo advise to upgrade to sea view as was so beautiful and the sound of the waves are so relaxing.
The staff at the Perla are fantastic and very well spoken. They offer much needed tourist info in order to see as much as you can during your stay. Wifi connection is available throughout the hotel although we did struggle to get connected in our room so had to do anything like that in the reception area, which wasn't a prob as didn't go away to surf the net! lol
No need to pack towels as room gets changed daily, and if you want towels for by the pool you can pay 10 Euros to reception which is full refundable when the towel is returned.
Although only stayed one night, I was a little late in arriving but the reception remained open and the young man was very helpful,. The hostel had a very nice roof terrace which over looked the rooftops of nerja, the only criticism I have is that although it had a small kitchenette there wasn't enough equipment ie crockery etc., but it was a useful thing to have.

The hotel is lovely; the grounds and large pool are spotless and beautifully maintained. The hotel overlooks the Burianna beach to which there is a lift - what a treat! Staff are very friendly. It has a five star feel but manages to stay relaxed. There is wifi but it wasn't great in the room though ok in the grounds. Restaurant food is very good though service can be slow, no vegetarian or vegan choices for main courses either. But overall, terrific.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Jimesol , it is well run and very clean . The fabric is a little tired but the friendly staff and and location make up for it . Our towels were changed daily and the sheets regularly during our two week stay . It is in town so is not quiet but it didn't disturb us . There is a huge roof terrace with pool and sun beds . We only ate breakfast (buffet style) as we preferred to enjoy Nerjas many tapas bars and restaurants. The reception is manned by English speaking staff 24/7.
I cannot fault the hotel in any way, especially the cleanliness of rooms etc. Very nice buffet breakfast which can be eaten out on the terrace, quality and choice of food was very good. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We will certainly be returning.

Not quite as happy as the two previous times, as the apartment did not have beds for 3 persons as advertised. We had to use the sofa bed which is awkward to have to setup everyday in a holiday. Also, there was no dishwasher which came as a surprise. However, the service quality and cleanliness is great. The walk back from the Burriana beach is a bit steep.
East of Malaga and one of the Costa del Sol’s quieter resorts, Nerja attracts a more mature traveller than its brasher neighbours, and sits atop low cliffs dropping down to enclosed beaches such as that of El Salón. The town’s focal point is the Balcón de Europa, a paved headland jutting out into the Mediterranean. The most popular attraction is the Nerja caves, large enough to house a concert hall hosting ballet and orchestra performances.
