If cooking at home is not what youre after it is also only a short stroll to Wests Diggers Club, restaurants, cafes and many other facilities including Little Beach Boathouse, which has a stunning restaurant and bar right on the water - favourite place for the locals to watch the spectacular sunsets. There are two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity and an external laundry with a shared washing machine and dryer. The unit provides undercover parking that will fit two cars length ways, there are beach chairs and an umbrella at the unit for your convenience as well. Sit back on the sunny balcony, relax and take in the tranquil environment or run across the road for a swim at Little Beach which is known for the calm waters for children to swim and paddle board. Little Beach also provides picnic tables, free BBQ facilities, toilet facilities and a boat ramp - making this is the ideal location for a family child friendly beachside holiday. I would have given this property rating 5 stars but it fell down on the same criteria that so many other properties do - an uncomfortable mattress and a disappointing sofa. The view is amazing but you spend more time asleep than looking at the view and it is disappointing when a poor night's sleep affects your enjoyment. As for the sofa - throw it out before it falls apart. This is a modest apartment, but it was very clean, and of course spectacular world class views. Also you can walk along the beach to Shoal Bay or around the headline to Nelson Bay.
