"This is a very nice hotel with friendly staff. They have popcorn available in the evenings and their coffee is good. I would definitely recommend this hotel for travelers."
"If you’re planning a trip to Durango and want a spot that nails the sweet spot between budget-friendly, pristine, and perfectly located, the Sleep Inn Durango is an absolute home run. Finding accommodations that don’t break the bank while still delivering a top-tier, modern experience can be a challenge in a mountain town, but this place completely knocks it out of the park.
From the second you walk through the doors, the first thing you notice is how incredibly clean everything is. It doesn't just look clean—it feels crisp, fresh, and meticulously maintained from the lobby to the farthest corner of the hallways. The rooms are immaculate, featuring comfortable beds, spotless bathrooms, and a bright, welcoming layout that makes it easy to unwind after a long day of exploring. It is clear that the housekeeping and management staff take massive pride in keeping this property in showroom condition.
The location is another massive win. It sits in a brilliant sweet spot: far enough out of the immediate downtown core to avoid the heavy traffic, parking headaches, and premium price tags, yet close enough that you can get to the heart of downtown Durango in just a few minutes. It gives you the perfect, quiet basecamp to retreat to at night. Plus, the sheer convenience of the layout is tough to beat. Having a Walmart literally one block away is a lifesaver for grabbing quick road trip supplies, snacks, or anything you might have forgotten to pack, making the logistics of your stay effo"
"This place must have hundreds of rooms. Farmington is a little tricky. This is probably one of the better safer hotels in town. Place was filled with construction workers and truck drivers. Appears that’s a regular thing as they have a huge parking lot looks like a truckstop, but it’s a nice place for what it is. The only hiccup was that the continental breakfast was a little crowded with the drivers and the workers. This place is huge. If you have an option, ask them to get your room nearest the lobby or you’ll be walking a long way to your room if they put you in the back. It’s not this place in particular, but it’s the area as there a signage everywhere that they are not responsible for theft or damage and if you’re parked way way in the back that opportunity may increase. I would stay here again no problem."
"Had a wonderful stay! Staff was all excellent. We are always greeted with a kind and friendly demeanor and a can-do attitude. Room was perfectly appointed, well maintained, and clean. Never had to ask for anything! We will be returning as you cannot experience Durango fully in 3 days and the Strater is our hotel of preference!"
"Comfortable bed there was no TV but that's okay listing said it had a barbecue grill but our tent did not have one saw two other tents that had them our fire pit did not have a propane tank either would return very nice place to relax only complaint was you can hear the highway off in the distance"
