The villa was large with plenty of room for a party of four. It came equipped with nicely stalked kitchen and a washer and dryer. The location was just outside of the town of Nauvoo so it made it easy to travel back and forth to the historical sights. Some things we didn't care for was the out dated furnishings and broken garbage disposal. We also had to time our showering just right since the water heater would only produce enough water for one person to shower at a time. The management did provide a key to another villa to shower but we just dealt with it since we didn't want to move our shower supplies back and forth.

Loved the location. So close to Nauvoo. Quiet. Awesome living quarters. Price was great! Will definitely tell others how great! Clean. Spoiled us when we went to the next motel😩👍

One THE BEST places to stay in Nauvoo!
Located in a quiet out-of-the-way location, Nauvoo Villas is a great home away from home. We have stayed here twice, in two different types of condos, and had a GREAT experience both times. We have a thirds stay planned in the near future. The staff is not in the office at night, but will answer your call if you need them and are always very friendly. To be fair, not EVERYTHING is perfect, but that's life, and I won't list those things here. The smaller ( the1 queen and the 1 king) size -d rooms do not have the same kitchen amenities that the larger rooms do (no stackable washer and dryer, no stove/oven nor dishwasher, and the fridge is a mini fridge, rather than regular-sized in the larger rooms), but they all have microwaves, coffee makers toasters, stoneware dishes, silverware, a kitchen sink, dish soap, paper towels, and even an electric can opener, as well as, 2 TV's. We were comfortable and felt safe during both stays. Thank you to the owners and staff for making this available in Nauvoo! Well done!

Very nice. We did get it without realizing we needed to contact the front office for info to get the key. We were lucky that a person happened to be there to answer the phone on a Sunday evening. Planning ahead would be good.

2 large towels in one bedroom and none in the other bedroom. Saturday check in so didn’t know who to contact (didn’t read the sign posted on the office door.) Basic clean 2 bedroom. Out in the country. Great for a family base to explore surrounding area.

We love the full kitchen and laundry facilities. Also full size living area. It is just nice to have a full condo type unit. Only minutes from Nauvoo. Very clean and well kept.

The bed was wonderful. Didn’t like the flies outside the front door. They need to allow you to turn off the outside light so the flies and bugs won’t accumulate on front door. Loved the room!

I did not like that there was nobody in the office after 5. Your guests arrive after 5 and if there is a problem there is nobody to go to for help. I felt a little unsafe. But the room was so nice and you were so cordial to allow me to use the room with handicap bars. I’m surprised you don’t have more ADA compliant amenities, but I would stay there again and recommend to friends.

was pleased by having two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms although the reservation was for a one room suite. The front porch light was dim and door number had to be seen on foot. Was disappointed when we left during office hours and no one was in the office to meet us. Was also startled by damage deposit of $100 which was gone by the next day after from credit card. Thanks for the key cards left on office door. Room was nice. Wish we could have met. Julie

The unit was very warm during day and did not like the loud bathroom fan . Wish it had a separate switch to turn off bathroom fan when needed and living room could use more lighting. MY have been missing light bulb in ceiling light but room was very dark and hard to read. Other than that nice place .

I am sorry that your unit was warm. The thermostat is there so that the guest can adjust the heat/air conditioning to suit their needs. Had we known about the ceiling having a lightbulb out, we would have been happy to replace that while you were here. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about the bathroom fan, other than rewiring the bathroom, as we have looked for a solution for this problem in the past. We want our guests to have a positive experience while staying with us and try to accomplish this goal everyday.Please consider us the next time you are in our area so that we may improve your experience here.

Very nice people when we checked in. Very clean and comfortable room. We had a room that you had to go downstairs to get to the front door and we could not park in front of our unit as it was in the back. Our room wouldn’t be good for anyone who has physical problems or handicapped. Not a big deal for us but it should be noted. Don’t get room number six if you’re handicapped.

It was quiet and felt like it was far out in the country, but was actually only about a 5 minute drive into Nauvoo. It was clean and private, with all that we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay again when in the area.

It seems pretty new. Very clean and comfy. It's like an apartment, in the country, very quiet. Fully stocked with utensils if you wanted to cook. Frig, W/D, electric stove. We will stay again.

Backdoor handicap rooms having to carry luggage down and up fourteen oversize stairs when I asked for assessable room. No one in the office to talk to. Didn't see anyone for the three days. Had to take own garbage to dumpster. Etc etc etc
