Browse the gallery, walk to shops and restaurants or head down to The Bluff and enjoy magnificent views of the Mississippi River just two blocks away. Main Street is one of two principal streets in the Historic District and can get loud on the weekends. We have a white noise machine in the bedroom and a fan to help, but if you're a light sleeper this suite may not be for you. During the week however, the suite is incredibly peaceful. The suite is filled with original art, antiques, and modern amenities for you to enjoy. The bed is super comfy with premium bedding, marble and brass nightstand, a 1920's Montgolfier chandelier above the bed and tv. The bathroom features white marble floors and 8 foot marble wall, with an oversized shower, brass fixtures including a rain shower head and hand held shower, and white fluffy towels. There is a television in the living room, internet, and books on art. The kitchenette is stocked with vintage plates, goblets, glassware, coffee mugs and teacups. I loved the live plants, artwork, antiques, brass fittings, and spacious, marble shower. Stacy went above and beyond to provide extra towels for us and give us a private gallery tour of Conde Contemporary. Access to the washer and dryer were appreciated as well as the kitchen sink, refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig located in the suite. The suite was very clean and everything was as advertised. The suite is conveniently located on Main Street within walking distance of historical buildings, shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and the riverfront. Stacy was also happy to provide recommendations for our stay.Please note the following before booking:Access to the suite is via staircase only.The bathroom is between the kitchenette/living room and the bedroom, and you access the bedroom via the bathroom. Nathan and I came to Natchez for a wedding. We booked this apartment last minute, and it set the tone for the entire weekend Unlocking the door, walking in, and seeing the space made our jaws drop. Each piece of furniture is unique, built for both functionality and beauty. You can tell it’s owned by artists, as every nook and cranny is picture-perfect yet livable. It’s all in the details, like the aromatic eucalyptus hanging in the giant shower, the soft bed sheets and towels, and the art pieces that tie the space together. The hosts are kind and cool people, with Stacy giving us the best recommendations of where to go, and answering all of our questions with grace and speed. It's like a little apartment. Very comfortable with all the amenties. There's a floor fan provided in the bedroom if you like to sleep with a fan and even an ice tray in the freezer if you prefer ice in your beverages. I felt very, very safe as a woman traveling and staying on my own. I had Stacy's contact info and there were 3 locked doors between my little apartment and the street. I loved how close it was to everything—I parked and walked to eat, to attend my conference events, and to visit nearby Pilgrimage home tours. There are a few things to be aware of—the parking is street parking and if there's anything going on, you may have trouble parking close to the door. Also, there are 2 sets of relatively steep stairs to get up to the second story where the apartments are. Overall, this was such a cool place to stay!
