A most enjoyable place to stay and just hang out. And our host couldn't have been more accommodating. Excellent location. Grocery store is an easy 13-minute walk and the gorgeous beach is a 5-minute walk directly across the road. (They drive on the left side of the road so pedestrians need to remain vigilant at all times!) The beach is owned by the complex, but the public has access. That said, it was far less crowded than the private resort beaches in town. Great place to just sit, read a book, and enjoy the white sand and turquoise water. Temps were mild in the 80s with low humidity and (for the most part) soft breezes. Also, a very nice restaurant is conveniently located right on the beach. The Spritz Wine Bar & Restaurant is a 30-second walk from the condo door and has amazing food. The Conchiglia Di Pesce Gratinata is mind expanding as is the ravioli stuffed with lobster, The pizza (#14) with sausage, artichokes, and sun-dried tomatoes is awesome. The Bahamian lobster tail is pricey but well worth it. Also within a 30-second walk is a quaint coffee shop that puts out a mean omelet for such a small place. The Twisted Lime sports bar is probably a 90-second walk from the condo door. Great place for a cold beverage and some TV. The shrimp & fish tacos are terrific. If you like wings, go with the guava bbq. Trust me. A taxi (or jitney as they call them there) ride anywhere is only $1.25. Recommend doing "the tourist thing" at least one day by going into town. Highly recommend taking a jitney to The Poop Deck restaurant east of downtown. Beautiful waterfront view of the marina and Paradise Island. Outstanding food. We treated lunch like dinner and ordered just caught fish cakes and conch chowder. Amazing. The grilled Mahi Mahi on lime slaw is just stupid crazy good. Ditto seafood lovers delight. For those who don't do stairs well the absence of an elevator may be a problem. But otherwise a nice place to stay for a week.
