Clean hotel. Nice Beach.
I brought my 3 daughters over Fall Break for a girls trip. The hotel wasn't the worst place I've stayed, but definitely not the best. The first 30 hours were without AC. It was stuffy and miserable. The rooms were clean but the beds were very uncomfortable. Our room was a garden view on the fifth flood that actually overlooked two propane tanks. The check-in desk people and the security were very friendly and helpful. I can't say the same about the bartenders at the pool. The ladies there always seemed as if we were an inconvenience and were downright rude on several occasions. The food was okay but we are early risers and breakfast didn't start until 7:30. If you didn't hit breakfast, lunch and dinner at the scheduled times, you could forget about getting a snack. The resort is all-inclusive but if you wanted a bottle of water, you had to buy that at the gift shop for $2.50. All of the free watersports were unavailable due to the wind but we were allowed to go snorkeling. It was totally worth the $50/person as we got to swim with the sea turtles. Our boat captain was awesome. Overall, the stay was fine and I'd say we got what we paid for. We did have a lot of fun and made great memories.
