Awesome. Great staff, great food, on the beach.

Pros: All inclusive & on the beach.
Cons: Make the shrimp appetizer in the Garden of Eden an entrée.
Location: Nice location, 10 minute bus ride to town.
Everyone was friendly. Great staff - polite & friendly. Always smiling. You don't have to leave the hotel at all, but if you do, catch the bus - cheap & close. I would stay there every time. Perfect for honeymoon, anniversary or just a getaway. Lots of entertainment. Shrimp in the Garden of Eden is AWESOME - needs to be an entrée and not just an appetizer.

The hotel is great, a lot of fun. The beach is beautiful, and also the see pretty nice. The hotel stuff however was quite disappointing.

Look elsewhere

Posted 18-Feb-2017
To keep this short and sweet, there has to be better hotels on the island than this one. This hotel looks like it was built a few decades ago and they're trying to squeeze a few more years out of it. The staff (for the most part) acts as if they do not want to be there nevermind interact with you. We rarely saw any of them smile and they were often flat out rude. I'm sure they deal with some bad guests but that's really no excuse. At least smile and pretend like you're trying to do your best. Also, be aware that the clientele of this particular hotel is on the older side. As a young couple we felt a little out of place. The location is good and the hotel gets the job done but for the price we'd recommend looking elsewhere for a place to stay.

Great choice for a vacation

We stayed for a week and had a great time. The beach is beautiful! You have many options - beach yoga, volleyball, sailing, swimming, tennis- or you can lay by the pool and drink rum all day. The people who work there are extremely pleasant and have a positive attitude towards the guests.

Older Resort with AWESOME staff

Posted 10-Feb-2017
Pros: The staff.
This hotel has seen better days but the friendly staff and great beach make it a great stay. The food at the buffet was ok; the restaurants are better. The hotel could use some updates and the rooms need better a/c.

Right on Cable Beach - which is great!

Posted 02-Feb-2017
Pros: location
Cons: see above comments
Location: $15 cab to Bay Street/downtown/Straw Market. Or $1.25 on the bus.
Our patio door/window rattled loudly in the heavy wind the first two days. We had trouble with the TV every single day. It would turn on but no volume. Had to "reset it" with a switch on the back. As first time guests, an orientation or overview upon check-in would've been very helpful. Still have no idea where their 4 or 5 restaurants are located - only found the buffet and the beach grill. Drinks are served in tiny cups, so many trips for refills.
