Location is great. Reasonably priced.

Posted 17-Oct-2017
Pros: Location and the beach.
Cons: Room safes should not need keys to be carried around. Some staff were exceptional and others were inattentive, especially in the shops inside.
Location: Local market was OK but nothing new. We don't travel to shop for souvenirs.
Hotel needs updates in the rooms. You should not be forced to carry a "Key" for the safe in an all inclusive resort. Service was very inconsistent and the cabana service more than doubled in price from $20/day to $50/day. Premium liquor was at a minimum and the the food was adequate for the price.

Clean hotel. Nice Beach.

Posted 14-Oct-2017
Pros: Clean. Close to the airport. Nice beach
Cons: Customer service of the bartenders. Rooms could use some updating.
Location: Only a 10 minute ride to downtown. Snorkeling and shopping are close by.
I brought my 3 daughters over Fall Break for a girls trip. The hotel wasn't the worst place I've stayed, but definitely not the best. The first 30 hours were without AC. It was stuffy and miserable. The rooms were clean but the beds were very uncomfortable. Our room was a garden view on the fifth flood that actually overlooked two propane tanks. The check-in desk people and the security were very friendly and helpful. I can't say the same about the bartenders at the pool. The ladies there always seemed as if we were an inconvenience and were downright rude on several occasions. The food was okay but we are early risers and breakfast didn't start until 7:30. If you didn't hit breakfast, lunch and dinner at the scheduled times, you could forget about getting a snack. The resort is all-inclusive but if you wanted a bottle of water, you had to buy that at the gift shop for $2.50. All of the free watersports were unavailable due to the wind but we were allowed to go snorkeling. It was totally worth the $50/person as we got to swim with the sea turtles. Our boat captain was awesome. Overall, the stay was fine and I'd say we got what we paid for. We did have a lot of fun and made great memories.

Nice hotel right on the beach

Posted 09-Oct-2017
The welcome from the Manager was outstanding and the chef in main dining was great. However. The specialist Japanese Restaurant needs to be redone as the food was not as tasty and the room had an old food smell which was off-putting. The main dining area was reasonably well appointed and the wait staff was good. But it was little things like having water in the room or a coffee maker in the room or a front desk that responds to your calls by returning your calls when they say they would that was weak. Overall it was a good experience

Beautiful beach, great staff!

Amazing friendly staff ALWAYS! Our 3rd stay at Breezes and definitely would return again. The hotel could use some updating, but other than that it was always clean and the food is okay. Drinks are great and awesome bartenders. Best place for the price. Thanks again Breezes and Club Hurricane! Always an activity, even when it rained. Beach was beautiful and clean. The only issue was the seagulls trying to steal food, but nothing major.

It was a great experience majority of the staff was very friendly it was easy to get food drinks Etc. The beds were a bit hard but the overall room experience and cleanliness was great. The maid came everyday gave us fresh towels and swept the sand up off the floor and anything else we needed. The entertainment was always going and Marvin the Entertainer guy was absolutely great about getting people to do things and play games.

All inclusive Stay

Posted 04-Oct-2017
The staff was great! The actual hotel building is dated, food was good and lots of it. The Martino's restaurant needs to be closed. Food was not worthy of the rest of the hotel. Garden of Eden restaurant was superior. The view, the beach, the water was fabulous. In general, a fun hotel with lots of activities.
