Bahama breeze

Posted 23-May-2017
We had a Ocean view room and it was beautiful. The breakfast and lunch buffet is a good variety. The midnight buffet I would not recommend. It is pretty much leftovers with a few other choices, not much. The garden restaurant where you can also eat at was good. The atmosphere is beautiful, well worth going to. The Italian restaurant there is not good. They have a salad bar to start off with and then limited choices of your dinner. The chicken parm was hard and not to tasty. At night the entertainment was fun. During the day, take a shuttle bus for $1.25 into downtown to the markets. Many souvenirs to choose from and reasonable. ( straw market ) Over all I would go back for sure. Plus it is a vacation I won't forget, as I got engaged on the beach at night. ❤️

Perfect location!

Posted 20-May-2017
Our short girls trip was perfect! May 10-14. It was not crowded and spring break was basically over. We arrived about noon and were able to check in right away! We were given our wrist bands and encouraged to attend the buffet or outside grill and before we made it to our room we were greeted with a complimentary drink. I can see what some of the other guest are saying about the room but I thought it was Perfect! We didn't spend much time in the room, if you go there for the room you may be disappointed. The hotel its self is well kept, clean, and colorful! They have lots of activities included like sailing, and outside games they facilitate. The activities started at 8am and went until 2am. There is constant music, which I loved but I'm glad I did bring earplugs. The others were able to sleep fine without them. We spent much of our time relaxing by the pool or ocean. We always found a chair although not always under an umbrella. The swim up bar was nice too! Bring a waterbottle. The walk to the beach is short, the ocean backs up to the hotel. Lots of healthy food options. The garden of eden was my absolute favorite restaurant. After seeing the other resorts on the island im convinced we stayed at the best one. The location is perfect, there are not cruise liners pulling up on the beach and the view is perfect! The staff was very friendly and accommodating which was a plus to our trip. I will definitely be back!

Birthday Bash

Posted 16-May-2017
I traveled with 6 ladies celebrating a birthday. This property is older and needs upgrading. The air conditioning was not working, the fan was blowing but the room was warm. However, the staff is friendly and go out of their way to meet your needs. The hotel didn't have many occupants and the disco ends at 2am even when the guests are dancing and having a good time. However, the staff are so friendly that we still had a great vacation. The main lobby and piano bar were my favorite. The concierge did a fantastic job of following through when we pre-ordered something special in our friend's room for her birthday. She even helped us make dinner reservations prior to our arrival. The waitress at the Japanese restaurant was fantastic and helped us celebrate my friend's birthday complete with the cake. The food was tatsty. This hotel can use music during the day to set a better mood for guests. We heard music in the beach area but it was low all the time which made it hard to hear at the pool. The bartenders especially Brittany, David and Joey were great attending to our needs. The entertainment staff was friendly and made our time at the resort fun. We met a vendor for Splendor on the beach (not affiliated with the hotel) who told us we would get free Atlantis waterpark tickets if we go see a sales presentation, we did, but didn't get tickets. We had to give their driver gas money and he left us at the straw market to shop, stated he would come back to pick us up and never came back.

Fun All-Inclusive on Cable Beach

Posted 12-May-2017
Pros: Entertainment Staff
Cons: Room appearance could be updated
Location: Swimming is beautiful right in front of the hotel! Lots of water sports included.
The activities and entertainment staff are really fun at this resort. They really want to make sure all of the guests are having a great time! The nightly shows really focus on guest involvement. The only negative would be that the rooms look kind of old and dated, and could use an update. But the activities to me are more important than the room since I don't spend much time there. The food was very good also! I was really surprised by the quality and variety. My daughter and I totally enjoyed our visit to Breezes. Thanks for the fun!

Simppe nice hotel

The only problem I experienced was that the internet connection was so bad. Also it was hard to know who to talk to to get a kayak for example from the hotel.

A Beach Holiday

Posted 19-Apr-2017
Pros: Being so close to the beach. The restaurants (especially The Garden of Eden when you could get a table) The lovely salads at lunch time.
Cons: Music not quite so loud during the day. Not so many youngsters running about. More sun shades on the beach, and pool.
Location: Went Downtown on the bus from outside the hotel (15 minute ride). Cruise visitors make prices high. Had coffee in The Hilton, and visited Atlantis.
Too many 13/14 year olds staying for Spring break, using hotel as a base, so noisy in evening. We were expecting an adult environment, and it was far from this. Loud music from 11 am throughout the day, so we spent all our time on the beach, grabbing one of the few sun shades from early in the morning, to protect us from the sun (which shone most of the time!) The staff were very helpful, and the food was very good and plentyfull. With the drink also being inclusive, it was a big draw for young Americans (Florida only an hour's flight away) so evenings tended to be very noisy. With being on the top floor with part ocean view, we were as far away as possible from the noise and entertainment which went on 'til the early hours. The main singer was an excellent entertainer.
