Cheap Old Hotel

Posted 13-Jun-2017
I've been on quite a few vacations and this is by far the worst all inclusive resort I've ever been to. Just a basic hotel that serves bottom shelf alcohol for free and calls themself all inclusive. There aren't even mini fridges in the rooms, no room service, no balconies, rooms are like a motel 8. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

We'll be back!

Posted 08-Jun-2017
Pros: The staff, the food (both buffet and a la carte restaurants), the drinks (strong! But good), the beach, the pools, and the vibe of a fun vacation stay
Cons: More food options for the later part of the evening. Most everything closed/wrapped up around 9:30/10pm then late lunch wasn't until midnight.
This was our first ever stay at an All-Inclusive Resort. We were on our Honeymoon and the overall trip was amazing. We were warmly greeted upon arrival, and the superb service continued for our 6 nights at the resort. There was no shortage of good food or drinks and the beach was perfect for our holiday. The entertainment in the evening was great! We were disappointed that there weren't many hotel guests attend the evening fun but the performances were great nonetheless. If there was one thing we had to say wasn't great, it was the bed/mattress. Unfortunately not the most comfortable, but that would be a personal preference of mine.

A party place for teenagers

Posted 03-Jun-2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Do not cater to teenagers cut them off instead of letting them be so drunk they ruin others peoples trips
Location: Can take a taxi any where the busses stop between six and seven which is super early
This was the worst resort experience I have ever had this was an all inclusive resort and you are not able to get food all the time and drunk teenagers puking in the pool, cigarette buts in the pool we didn't even swim because of it don't ever stay in the month of May or June had I been told those two months are known as grad week I never would have picked it

Small resort with everything nearby

Posted 02-Jun-2017
Pros: Its one of the smaller hotels on the island which I like. To get to the buffet room or beach its not much of a walk.
Cons: Need more huts for beach. Update the bathroom please.
Location: Location is great. Very close to airport and only like 20 minutes to downtown. Just hop on a bus
Had a ocean view room on the 5th floor. Room size was ok. Bathroom needed updating badly. Air condition in room was so loud was it came on. Could not sleep with the noise from it. Walls were thin. Could hear TV from next room. No Frig in room and if you wanted one you pay. They did have a safe. The buffet room was nice. Food was good. The restaurants were just ok. The beach was beautiful. The only problem there was not many huts. They had tons of Cabanas for $50 per day. Pool was nice. Hotels needs major updating. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel for only $1.25 to take you into town which was good. They do cater to Grads Spring Breakers. They are so noisy. For that reason only I would not return to this hotel.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Posted 31-May-2017
Pros: The music at the pool side and the entertainment made my stay enjoyable.
Cons: Expedia need to add a disclaimer to inform people when booking at the hotel if it's spring break or graduates are gonna be staying there. Very Noisy
Location: Bahamar Hotel and Casino is within walking distance to the hotel
Things to do was a bit trying, The time was wrong they didn't have my name on the tour. I had to contact Majestic Tours and go on a tour in the morning rather than the afternoon. Not sure if the tour I went on was the one I had paid for

Close to Beach and Downtown Nassau

Posted 29-May-2017
Pros: Great hospitality!
Cons: Could use a little upgrade hotel is stuck in the 70s
Love how the beach is right outside your back door. Wake up to beautiful sunrise seen from an ocean view room. Pool right outside your window and beach right next to it. You can either take a cab or a bus to get to Downtown Nassau where there a places to shop and eat.

It was wonderful. The staff are the best overall. Especially Gretchen at the Italian restaurant and Ava serving the beach cabanas. Hotel needs upgrading especially rooms and some more amenities but overall great trip

Bahama breeze

Posted 23-May-2017
We had a Ocean view room and it was beautiful. The breakfast and lunch buffet is a good variety. The midnight buffet I would not recommend. It is pretty much leftovers with a few other choices, not much. The garden restaurant where you can also eat at was good. The atmosphere is beautiful, well worth going to. The Italian restaurant there is not good. They have a salad bar to start off with and then limited choices of your dinner. The chicken parm was hard and not to tasty. At night the entertainment was fun. During the day, take a shuttle bus for $1.25 into downtown to the markets. Many souvenirs to choose from and reasonable. ( straw market ) Over all I would go back for sure. Plus it is a vacation I won't forget, as I got engaged on the beach at night. ❤️

First day water didn't work and air conditioner didn't either. Staff was great though. Too bad!

Great staff effort.

Posted 23-May-2017
Pros: cleanliness of hotel and friendliness of staff
Cons: no ice maker or beverage dispenser (soda machine) on the floors; you had to go to the bar to get ice. Also there was no coffee maker in the rooms.
Location: downtown to local shops and flea markets. Buses run regularly for a mere $1.25 or take the ferry to Paradise Island for $4 to go to Atlantis Casino
I started my stay with in a deficit in that I forgot my husband's passport. The reservation staff person, Ms. Shalonda, worked tirelessly with Expedia to reschedule my hotel stay and ground transportation. When I arrived I wanted to thank her in person but she was not on duty. I made it my business to meet her and thank her as she was very accommodating in this effort as well as printing out my ground transportation documents for me as I forgot to do that as well.
