Hotel is very outdated and the buffet food was never hot or even warm.

Outstanding!

Posted 25-Mar-2017
I had a great vacation, and I plan to go back soon. The hotel is close to the beach. Meals are well prepared. The late night show, very entertaining. The orientation given by Miss Lavanda is highly recommended if someone wants to know everything about the resort....

Good choice for a no frills all-inclusive.

Posted 23-Mar-2017
Pros: Location. Close to NAS and downtown. VALUE. Breezes is typically 20% less expensive than the other AI's on the island. Casual, no pretense.
Cons: Resort is ripe for an updating from head to toe to rival the other AI's on the island but not bad either.
Location: Excellent location with close proximity to NAS and downtown. Approx. 15 minute taxi ride away. Easy to visit Paradise Is and other area attractions.
Our second time at Breezes and had a great trip. Caught nice weather, not a drop of rain but too cool to swim (mid March). Very accommodating and friendly staff. Easy direct flight from JFK, no currency exchange necessary and staff and locals speak English which makes easier and more effective communication. We went with the proper mindset which was not to expect a top-shelf experience but one with a solid "C". Traded that off for a very relaxed and laid back environment at a discount. Also here you don't get nickeled and dimed to death as you often are at other resorts. Suggest that at least one day you rent a beach "cabana" which is really a nice 10x10ish straw/palm canopy with a concrete floor and lounge chairs. Personal butler all day from 9-5 will bring food and drinks at no cost. Well worth the $50 plus tip. Enjoy!

Great All Inclusive Hotel.

Posted 21-Mar-2017
Pros: We enjoyed that it was All Inclusive. The hotel was very close to shopping and casinos. The hotel is holder but is very clean. The whole staff was w
Cons: I can't think of anything. We had a wonderful stay.
Location: The hotel is close to the airport, shopping, casinos and right on the beach.
We had such a relaxing short vacation. The staff was very friendly and very efficient. We enjoyed being right on the beach and the scheduled activities. We had plenty to do to keep us busy. Close to the airport.W

Most Reasonable Hotel on Cable Beach

Posted 06-Mar-2017
Pros: It is right on Cable Beach & perfect location for everything. The bus stop to go to town is right out of the lobby. Check in & out took minutes.
Cons: The ONLY thing we found was our mattress needed turning.
Location: You can spend all day/all week at Breezes, or you can go downtown to the markets, Fish Fry or the pubs & restaurants. Tours, fishing, Everything!
The Hotel is dated but the staff & EVERYONE there works so hard & keeps it in top notch shape, & CLEAN! I have never experienced a more friendly dedicated staff anywhere I've stayed. The food in the Main Dining Room (buffet) was excellent, as was the restaurants & pool food shack. Great place!

Great location to town and has a nice beach

Posted 05-Mar-2017
Pros: Deondra at the Italian restaurant is very good! I would recommend asking her to be your waitress. You can't miss her, big smile, braces, sweet
Cons: Food, alcohol, beds, hotel itself needs an overhaul
Location: Atlantis waterpark - expensive but nice to get out of resort for a day, cost was $162.50 pp, this included lunch (adult rate). Cabride was $30 one way
The hotel and accommodations are just ok. The reviews are pretty accurate, I read them before we went and I have to say that yes, what people are saying is true. The resort does NOT have a refrigerator in your room, there is not "call" liquor other than Bacardi, the only beer they have is Kalik which is Bahama beer, the food is just ok - I would HIGHLY recommend bringing Immodium with you, the hotel store ran out (and it's very expensive). Bring a travel mug (we brought our Tervis), the drinks are in very small plastic cups and you will be running back and forth all the time. Bottled water at the resort is $5 for big bottle or $2.50 for small one. You can get free water by the pool bar, they have 2 large blue containers with cold water. Ask the bartender to fill up your glass with ice. Be prepared to have a sore back, the beds are not good. The hotel is in need of upgrades, I would rate it as a 2 star. The beach is nice, proximity to hotel is nice. The bus is $1.25, cab rides are around $20 one way.

Breezes resort is wonderful. This was my 8th trip to this particular resort with my sister, and we enjoyed it more than ever. The staff, food and beautiful beach always brings us back. We feel comfortable and safe. We highly recommend it.

decent hotel - good location

Posted 05-Mar-2017
Pros: They work hard to keep this older hotel in good condition.. some reviews complain its old and rundown - old yes, but well cared for.
Really good for an escape from winter. The staff are wonderful - friendly, attentive and responsive. From some reviews I wasn't expecting much - I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, one can do better (if in fact newer is better!?!) but it will come at a price. I was very satisfied - facilities were more than adequate, food better than expected, room was spacious and clean (entire resort clean and attended to) - Excellent value in my opinion.
