The best Vacation

Location: Beautiful island with a lot to do just do not stay here.
This is in no means a 3.5 star hotel. Please avoid this as it is worse than a Motel 6 unless. Smelled like smoke even in the non-smoking areas. There was a hole in the closet. It is completely outdated. We got there and had a feeling this was going to bad but still checked in as we were hoping our room would change our mind but we got to the room and it confirmed our initial feelings so went straight back down to the reception area and told them there was no way we could sleep or even sit on our bed. It was that bad. The manager at the hotel promised us that they would not charge us anything so I relayed this message to Expedia who said the refund will be 100% processed within 3-5 business days yet I have not received the full refund to this date. I am still fighting this with all parties involved and cannot believe I was charged for a place that I did not even stay at. AVOID THIS PLEASE!

Great all-inclusive in Nassau Bahamas

We had a fantastic stay at Breezes-Nassau and all of our interactions with staff were great. The room was clean upon arrival but we had a bit of trouble having it cleaned every day even when we left the sign on the door. (Same for fresh towels). The resort itself was very clean. The pool was nice and cold and the hot tub was used a lot by guests. Only improvement suggested was to have the filters cleaned or run more often because during the day they got very dirty. They had various activities at the resort and the staff made sure everyone else was having a great time. They posted signs throughout the resort but certain ones were unclear where specific activities took place. As for food- plenty of options as the main dining area was open for every meal and we always found something delicious. Garden of eden was our favorite restaurant and we also really enjoyed dinner on the beach at the reggae cafe. Martinos was on the much lower end (italian food). The bartenders throughout the resort were very polite, welcoming and accommodating. If you wanted a stronger drink- all you needed to do was ask. As for water activities, they were only available 1 1/2 days of our trip. there were two gentlemen over in that area offering jet ski rentals and snorkeling trips that were an additional cost. Massages were top notch. I'll be putting another review on trip advisor!

Das Hotel ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, wir waren aber doch insgesamt angenehm überrascht. Das Personal ist durchweg sehr bemüht, die Verpflegung trotz AI-Image durchweg gut, das Hotel insgesamt sehr sauber. Das Entertainment am Abend war hervorragend!!! Insgesamt kann man sagen: wenn man über kleine Mängel hinwegsehen kann, für die Bahamas ein super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

Cool spot

Location: It is a beautiful day for snorkeling. The local people on the beach straw market.
Great service by Rosie the maid. The staff at food service were kind and wonderful. Toyalynn the bartender made my wife Renee feel loved and happy. We Travel almost monthly and this was my wifes favorite experience. Thanks Breezes.

Staff was rude the food got my stomach sick for 3 days they put out over night food that they warm up and the buffet line power out 2 times for 7 hours worst resort I ever been at never again

Easy hotel to love in Bahamas

Pros: The food, staff and amenities
Cons: Maybe the pool should be heated so more people would be in the pool as there were a lot of seagulls
Location: Location was excellent - jet skiing nearby and downtown
Great little hotel boutique feel - all rooms are approx. 3 min walk to beach and 3 min. walk to all food on-site. Great 20 person hot tub during the day or after dinner. Food is excellent - many options and tasty. Drinks are plenty and good as well. Hotel is 20 min to airport and 20 min downtown. Great value for what you pay for compared to other hotels on island. Rock climbing wall, trapeze and kayaking were all included in price which were fun. Easy check-in, check-out, restaurants and buffet - no line-ups for anything as it is well-run and friendly helpful staff. A very relaxing hotel to stay at.

Great Value; Great Staff; Few Frills

Pros: Great food. Friendly staff.
Cons: Our room was very musty. Sneezed all week. Saw workers installing new air conditioners each day down the hall. That could make a difference.
We went to Nassau for events at Atlantis. Even with $52 / day taxi round trips ($42+tip) we felt we came out way ahead compared to cost of Atlantis. Not many frills. Very limited bar selections. Coffee maker / mini 'fridge available on request. (Deposit for fridge) I really liked the late night buffet. After being out for the evening, returning for hot food was a nice surprise. All three theme restaurants serve excellent dishes and the presentation is wonderful. The dining room buffet is also very good. The beach restaurant has great salads, conch fritters, hot dogs, burgers and fish. The live entertainment band was very talented, covering many genres of music.

Rundown rooms.

Pros: Pools were nice
Cons: Maintenance and updating of rooms.
Location: Close to beach but lots of seaweed and trash on beach from unopened hotels nearby.
At one time, I'm sure this was a nice hotel. Now the rooms are just run down. Toilet ran constantly and made weird sounds. The door was warped and we had to lift it up and then slam it to shut door. The grout in bathrooms were dirty and fixtures were crusted over from the salt air. Hot tub looked unclean. They ran out of certain drinks at bar and didn't replenish. Workmen were making noise with power saws all day near our room. When we asked to have something fixed in the room, we were told that it would be passed on to whoever was in charge. If we were going to be there for more than a few days, we would've left. As it was, we stayed by pool or just left the hotel to explore the island. Meals were ok but not great. We ate out every night. Taxi cab rides to get anywhere from that hotel were about $20 to $35 each way

Good small hotel close to beach

Good hotel. Would stay there again. Food is yumny and staff are incredible. Great wifi as well. Only things we didn't like were there was no bottle water in the rooms or a mini fridge to keep drinks cold in room.
