Was a great stay! had a great time!

Loved the resort. Every staff memeber ran into was extremely friendly. Enjoyed that it was a short drive from the airport, but you didn't feel like you were still in the "city" necessarily.

Very Nice Resort with Some Room for Improvement

Posted 19-Sep-2016
Pros: Basically everything mentioned above.
Cons: There need to be umbrellas or some other type of shade on the beach. There are a few huts but you have to pay to reserve them. $50 I believe.
Location: We went downtown to Nassau and went to the market and a restaurant. Wished we hadn't. Cab ride was expensive and food wasn't great.
We really enjoyed our stay at this resort. From the minute we checked in until we left 7 days later, we were treated wonderfully by the hotel staff. All of the staff was so nice and fun. Some of the staff guys that we hung out with quite a bit were Q, Reno, and Oscar. All three of these guys treated us like long time friends and were a ton of fun to hang out with. The beach was beautiful. The water was also beautiful especially in the morning. The evening high tide brought in some sea weed and other things that made the water less desirable. There were "hustlers" on the beach trying to sell cigars, coconuts, and snorkeling tours. All of these guys/gals were very respectable. If you told them no, they didn't bother you again. There is one guy, can't remember his name, with a big hair sock on that did the snorkeling tour. We took him up on it. It was $45 per person and I would pay that again for the experience we had. So much ocean wildlife. Swam with sea turtles. It was awesome. The food was great in our opinion. There is a pool grill that has a pretty large menu. Everything I tried was great. The buffet is open all day. It was as good as can be expected from a buffet. The bar liquor was just OK. I made it a point to ask specifically for some of the more top shelf stuff and they obliged. The pools were one of my biggest complaints. Definitely need to work on cleanliness of those. Also, not having any type of shade or umbrellas on the beach.

Thank you so very much for staying with us and for taking the time to write. I would recommend on your return trip to take the bus into town, the cost is US$1.25 per person and the bus stop is directly outside the resort. We will pass your comments on to the relevant departments and we will take action where appropriate. We look forward to your return.

Ancient hotel

Posted 18-Sep-2016
Pros: The staff, for the most part.
Cons: The hotel's structure, activities, beverages etc.
Location: The location is great. Very near to the airport. You can also go outside and take a bus to down town nassau which is really safe and very nice.
This hotel is for retired couples. There is not much activities and attractions for young people. As a matter of fact there were not many young people there. It was more older persons. The building was very old. The pool was dirty. The room had many hair particles from a previous guest. This suggest to me that it was not properly cleaned. ALL the alcoholic beverages were watered down and they didn't use natural orange juice nor natural fruit punch. Cool aid and juice mix were used. The hotel was overall an old one. However, I must say that the staff was GREAT! The female lifeguard by the pool was awesome. The entertainment raste was great. Also, the servers in the buffet room were really nice. It was an awesome experience with the service provided by the staff. I was also impressed with the guest change and shower room after check out. However, the hotel itself is a wreck.

Business then vacation.

Posted 17-Sep-2016
We had a business conference at the Atlantis which is huge but the facilities are fantastic. Decided to extend into vacation at the Breezes it was a very noticeable difference. You could hear everything from the room and needs much updating. Had a musty smell throughout. Food and staff was great and beach was very nice.

This resort definitely needs updating but it was fine for the short time we were there. Most of the rooms don't have balconies which isn't described on the website and the rooms are very basic, not even a refrigerator stocked with water. The food was great with plenty of variety. The drinks aren't weak, which we have experienced at other all inclusives.

Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to write. We do describe the rooms on our website as having French balconies which is an accurate description. I will look to see if we need to clarify further. I am sorry you were not aware that you could have requested a refrigerator for a nominal daily fee. I will look into how we can communicate that better. I am happy you enjoyed the food and drinks. We look forward to your return

Awesome Beach!!

Posted 11-Sep-2016
Pros: Beach
Cons: The wait staff of the hotel are soooo slow in service and little more organization could make it great.
Food choices were not that many, but pools and beach was excellent!! Commuting to downtown was a bus travel of a dollar 25 cents.

Thank goodness for the beach, ocean and pools

Posted 10-Sep-2016
Pros: It's right on the ocean. Nice beach, but they won't let you in the ocean at any sign of rain.
Cons: They need to revamp this hotel and make so many repairs. Our room was okay but other guest were not happy. The piano bar smells like hell!
Location: You can take the bus to the straw market or Paradise Island. Nothing really in walking distance.
The hotel was leaking everywhere every time it rained, the booze was cheap and gave us heartburn and the bartenders only gave good service if you tipped them. The food was hit or miss and there were only 3 or 4 good service people out of the whole bunch. The rates were cheap and there is good reason! Next time, I'll spend the extra money to go to Hawaii. Nassau is a total crap-hole, btw.
