We did take valuables up, as advised. However we left clothes, hats, blankets, toiletries in the car because we were on our way to the beach in Florida and did not think it was necessary to completely empty our car. Someone threw a rock into our back window overnight and stole bags of books, clothing, hats. The police and neighbors said there were several other car break ins that evening and have been increasingly more in the area despite being near Vanderbilt and a supposed nicer area. ##### Lauren A.
