Friendly Personable Staff

Everyone I met was extremely friendly and courteous, and made for a positive impression. That being said, I had some difficulty getting my room the first night, and didn't actually get to check in until 6pm. Items that need attention may require 2-3 phone calls to get resolved. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Friendly front desk; would like it to be tidier

Pros: Great room lay-out; fantastic attitude at front desk; great location.
Cons: Clean up after people in common areas and clean/vacuum sofas in bedrooms! BARELY 4 star quality due to this issue. Maybe it is under-staffed?
Location: Vanderbilt is across the street. Easy to uber everywhere. Close to music row. Fantastic sushi 1 block away.
Great room lay-out, but the dining area was always messy/sloppy. Have stayed there a number of times and it always seems this way. Extra bedding for fold out in room was in a heap in the closet. So we got more a the front desk...and it was also in a heap. Should have been folded neatly. Sofa in room had dust on the top corners. Needs to be cleaned/vacuumed.

Hotel was very clean and they were very accommodating to surgery patients. They had a convenient shuttle to my doctor's office and a wheelchair I borrowed after my surgery. After forgetting the soup to my room service they brought it up quickly with chocolates as a "sorry". The only slight "ding" would be that the shuttle drivers did not help us get our bags out of car or help me out of the car. The valets/bellhops were very helpful..

Not walkable. Not cheap.

Pros: Staff was friendly. We had a beer in the bar, and the bartender was really great, gave us some good suggestions on places to go.
Cons: Just about everything.
Location: Unless your child is a student at Vanderbilt, there is no reason to stay here.
Loews charge for everything. The bottles of water in your room are $7, and also the snacks which have no price tag ( thankfully I asked before we ate them ). There is no fridge in the room, and ice machines are hard to find, no vending machines, and you don't even want to know the prices in the gift shop. Our first night, after driving 15 hours, all we wanted was to go to sleep. Turning down the sheets we find a big brown stain, which I am sure was washed in and bleached several times, but still, not what I would expect in a 4 star hotel. Housekeeping... They knock at 9am to clean your room, if you put up the " do not disturb " sign, they will wait till 11am, and then still knock.

Brilliant hotel with superb staff & facilities

Cons: Nothing!
Location: City centre attractions & The Parthenon all within a walk. Buses stop nearby.
This is a brilliant hotel with superb staff & facilities, within a walk of the city centre and with free rides within the central zone. They really looked after us; nothing was too much trouble.

Excellent hotel near downtown Nashville.

Pros: Everything
Cons: I would't change anything.
Location: Everything was within walking and driving distance. They even provided free shuttle rides downtown. Downtown was awesome. lots of places to visit.
This hotel is a five star hotel. The rooms were very clean. I would have to give the staff five stars also. They went out of their was to make sure our stay was pleasant, especially the valet and front door staff. Outstanding service by all.

Great stay on the West End.

Perfect location for exploring all of Nashville's neighborhoods & shopping districts. Staff is excellent. Room was very cool. My only criticism is that their Benedict needs some work...but that's room service breakfast for you.

It was great really clean and nice. Felt like they took pride in their hotel. I was treated like royalty and with the upmost respect. We had dine in and that was great quality food I have no complaints. Even the water pressure in the shower was right where I like it
