The property was located close to mass transportation and the people working there were very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, when we arrived one of the doors to the rooms would not lock from the outside which posed some security issues so that was inconvenient. The lock was fixed the next day. The hallway rugs are not very clean and my room did not smell very clean upon arrival. We did have an issue with a homeless man coming up to our group and being rather aggressive and following us around. We ducked quickly back into our hotel but he followed us and shouted at us which really scared our students. This does happen in large cities but unfortunately it happened the first night that we were there. There are also men who gather on that street and did call out and verbally harass us in the evenings. The rooms themselves are very well equipped and the beds and rooms are very comfortable. All in all you get good value for the money however the area could potentially be an issue.

Clean, convenient and modern
Modern, clean, central, well equipped, convenient to station. Breakfast was very basic and it would be preferable to organise your own in your room.

Location location location
An excellent spacious option in a great location. Despite the city being busy we didn't encounter any noise or disturbance. Staff were very helpful and the hotel is just two minutes walk from the railway station ( also the drop off point for airport shuttle bus). As an aparthotel we had the equivalent of two rooms, each with a sleeping option, so much better than a normal hotel. There was also a small kitchen with all necessary appliances so we could could eat in the room without a problem. Finally, Nantes is a great city with a young vibrant population and lots of eating and drinking options.

Poor breakfast and air-conditioning.
Had a fabulous weekend in Nantes for the Irish rugby match. Hotel was comfortable but we had 3 rooms in our group ,each room the air conditioning would not go below 24°. On asking the night porter he said it cannot be changed ! Except for the fact we got a fan i would not have slept at all . In one room the shower was cold at all times . The breakfast was very disappointing. Each morning we had to ask for food as it was not replenished very often . On the last morning ttere was no milk at all for tea or cereal ,only a small amount of bread and no fruit or juice . When asked for more we were told they had none . Hotel was very central and otherwise comfortable.

We stayed here for one week. It was great! The room and the entire place was really clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This hotel is conveniently located to both city centre and the train station. We hope to stay there again in the future!

We booked two rooms with twin beds and paid extra for it. When we arrived we found only one bed in the room, we went to the reception at the hotel and they claimed that the room also has a sofa on which you can sleep. Of course it was not great when we booked two beds. Since no one wanted to sleep on a couch we asked that if this was the case they would switch to a regular room (With one bed) and returned the extra payment paid for two separate beds but they refused.

Spot on accommodation for a trip in Nantes
Great facilities and location. Perfect for a business traveller wanting a studio for a few days. Some of the features could do with a small revamp (bathroom tiles a bit loose) but otherwise spot on. Friendly staff too.

Stay as far away from this place as you can! It’s in a splendid location, 5 min from the north entrance of the Gare. This means it’s also close to the airport shuttle bus (both lieu unique and the Gare are drop off points). The flat is ok, at first everything looks nice, like a comfortable apartment. But the heater in my room didn’t work, although I left it on 29 degrees and high fan, because the room was freezing! First I was patronised by reception staff, who was as rude as french hotel staff can get! Then I was given a hand held device - which also didn’t work! - and an extra blanket. They made up my couch into a single bed, when I was alone in my room (and therefore I couldn’t use the couch as cushions were missing). The bath was nice but the shower kept running hot and cold. You had to take your own rubbish out on departure! No-one cleaned or changed towels during my stay - I don’t expect every day cleaners in apartments, but I expected to be told when. The room was cold and noisy, partially street noise. The furniture was ok, as were kitchen utensils. No complimentary tea and coffee. They had a bad policy concerning check out (at 11am) and to stay later you had to pay 50 euros until 4pm. Well, I only needed the room until 1 pm so I didn’t. 50 euros is more than what I paid per night through Expedia, so I don’t know who they were kidding. Finally, the communications were awful. They didn’t reply to my emails.

It was such a pleasant stay. The location was fantastic. Although the sofa bed was pretty narrow, maybe a bit narrower than twin bed, but I was okay and slept without a hassle. Staff people were very kind and helpful. Air conditioning worked flawlessly and a bathroom was very clean. If I ever have a chance to revisit Nantes, I would definitely stay here again!

Definitely stay here.
Highly recommend it! The staff are very professional, it's spotlessly clean and has great equipment for the self catering kitchen in the bedroom. All major tourist attractions within walking distance. (Beware of the paying machine in the laundry though: it eats coins!).

All you need with no soul, eg plastic, greys browns and the room design planning is not good. However staff very helpful and breakfast fine, except for the coffee.

Good and fair price quality ratio
We had actually checked in further down the road, also through Hotels.com - we saw the room and wondered if the carpets had ever been cleaned. Booked Adagio immediately and had positive experience on all counts. Would recommend to any other traveller who needs a clean functional place very near the Chateau, with a fine and fair price quality ratio. When in Nantes, we will return.

Lovely stay in Nantes
Apartments are really well situated for all points of interest. Rooms are very clean and have everything you need. Our lady receptionist was so helpful and always had a smile, her English was also perfect. The apartments are very easy to reach from the airport. Use the 48 bus and then tram line 3 to commerce, it costs 1euro70 per person if you buy a ticket from the machine at the airport. Nantes is beautiful with so much to see and do. Everywhere is walkable and all the people are so friendly.
