Free parking, cute chateau. The restaurant looked very nice, but needed to have a reservation for it. Drinks at the bar were reasonably priced. I would stay here again. Walking distance to the Citadel and then the cable cars that will take you to downtown Namur (5 or 7.5 euros per person).

Very special Chateau experience with excellent French cuisine provided. Menu is limited but changes regularly. Some staff are hoteliers in training which is lovely to see.

We found the staff and general atmosphere very impersonal. We didn’t feel welcome. They seemed to cater only to corporate meetings, etc We had dinner in the dining room which was very good. The service there was also very good.

The dinner in the restaurant was absolutely 1st class and very good value for money. The bedroom and bathroom facilities were at least 5 star. The only negative was the unimpressive ambiance of the entrance are and the bar (2 stars). . But perhaps these are work in progress.

Absolutely horrible experience. Received e-mail 1,5 hour before check-in that they could not provide the confirmed double room and had to move us to room with single beds. This was, after some dialogue with reception, solved. Had overpriced lukewarm dinner in restaurant, which btw refused to offer room service on Christmas night (a service normally available).

This was an interesting place with the restaurant and other service provided by students. The hotel was a nice modern facility in a spectacular location. Good dinner. The room key was a champagne cork that operated the room lights. Confusing.

Trying to be something it isn't. Alice in Wonderland thinking best describes the experience. Quirky lighting and key fob but atmosphere in bar and dining room dead. Over the top and expensive.
Large rooms, but pretentious neo-baroque style with gadgetry gimmicks, such as fancy door keys and lights. Yet the gardens were neglected and the modern bathroom didn’t have a soft-close toilet seat. Dinner was good, but very expensive. Breakfast was not the best we’ve ever had and there were only two members of staff visible. Could be better with more attention to detail. This was a free nights for us, but we wouldn’t pay to go again.

Charming chateau completely renovated. High-tech rooms and modern bathroom. The property serves as a school for hotel staff, and that means you might run into small service mistakes made by the eager but inexperienced students. The air conditioning in the bedrooms is excellent, and that really made a difference for us during the heat wave that hit the area while we were there. Sadly, the restaurant on the ground floor had no air conditioning and only one electric fan on top of a counter... on such warm days, that was not enough.

Good. Worth a stay.
A great hotel, maybe a little ‘top-show’ and only let down by lack of toiletries in the rooms, I wouldn’t expect squeezy hand soap in a hotel like this! Great room though and the breakfast and dinners we had ther were superb. It gets busy with corporate events but the staff do their best to keep all this away from normal guests. It’s a bit isolated so you’ll need the car to explore.

I thought the property and it’s situation was lovely. I think the bar should be available to residents and not exclusive to a conference group that are staying. We wanted to go to the bar( the only one) after our dinner and were refused.

this hotel has a very nice and quiet location. the rooms are recently renovated and has an excellent bed and furniture. the bathroom modern and very up to date. the only downside was the breakfast .the staff did not on items that were consumed by the customer.

With a commanding, airy position on top of the hill one gets unbroken views over the city and beyond. Surrounded by green parkland and a botanical garden at the side the setting is lovely. Corridors are as wide as rooms in smaller establishments and rooms are spacious and modern. Meals in the restaurant are very good and the young staff-many of whom are being trained in hospitality at the hotel- are friendly and hard working.

Beautiful period property. Rooms are filled with vintage charm but not lacking on modern amenities. Excellent quality breakfast but very set meal times with limited room service options. Rent a car for sightseeing but this provides a perfect retreat.

Comfortable and a little on the expensive side.
Interesting the reception was easy and the service staff spoke English. The bedroom was very comfortable the television was very small and they had a weird electronic way of getting into the room and lights. The hotel seem to have spent too much on the mood lighting and champagne cabinet that hummed all night on the wall. The hotel could have spent the money on an up grade to the shower recess and more water pressure. The bath towels could have been larger and fluffier or could have supplied two smaller towels each instead of one small one for each person. This was the big let down of the whole experience compared to other hotels we have stayed at. Overall it was comfortable.

Overall a positive with some negative
The hotel itself was great and the rooms were comfortable and had lots of room. Breakfast was a nice plus. Dinner in the hotel was good, but not great for the price. The hotel service was below average. When inquiring about things to see and do in the area at the front desk, we were tossed a Namur pamphlet and ignored. A few other awkward interactions occurred which is somewhat expected with a teaching institution and students, but we never felt welcome.

Superb room, superb hotel, superb location!
Superb! Most enjoyable stay! We'd been warned ahead of time that there was to be a wedding reception while we were there. The hotel had given us a chance to book elsewhere, but after we confirmed our stay, they put us in a great room as far away as possible from the festivities. The room was beautiful, very stylish, clean and comfortable. Good Wifi. The chateau itself is beautiful and in a great location, only 30 minutes walk from the centre of town. Lots of parking. Breakfast (not included in the price) was wonderful and took us through to dinner that evening. Fantastique!

Very pleased with our stay at the hotel. Staff very friendly. Food excellent. One minor thing. It took eternity for staff in the restaurant to take our first order; however, once serving started it was first class. One member in our group of four had a special [muslim] meal request, and she had to wait while we had champagne, pre-pre starter, pre-starter, and starter, and...Finally, when we got our main course, she was half dead from starvation.....It would have been appreciated if staff could have deviated from textbook serving dogma.

Going Downhill
Room unbearably hot, air conditioning ineffective. Very surly and offhand staff at breakfast, empty dishes not refilled. Stayed last year and it was excellent. Going rapidly downhill I fear.
