"Very good breakfast. Didn't attend the Happy Hour and chocolate chips giveaway later but thought that was a nice touch. Couldn't see the ocean eventhough my room was listed as partial view. The sand dunes are too high....."

"Cottage has an open layout which makes it feel bigger. Fenced in yard and the big front porch were perfect for our dogs. Cottage is in a great location, across from beach entrance. First time in Nags Head and loved it! Would rent here again!"

"I took my three girls (10 and younger) to nags head. We stayed at the blue heron! I just wish I knew about it before! Perfect location, right on the beach, room was clean. The man in the office was so kind, going above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Very friendly and inviting! Only issue is someone was flat footing above me and that was slightly nerve wracking but you don’t go to the beach to stay in the room "

"This property was a perfect fit for our family. It was clean, nicely furnished, and well maintained. The kids each had their own rooms, the master suite is spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the common areas were comfortable for hanging out together. Great location - easy walks to Nags Head Woods and the beach; short drives to many restaurants and attractions. We would stay here again."

"The man at the desk was super friendly and accommodating, he was great! The room was nice and clean, they had a storm the day before so no cable but we weren't there to watch TV. Right across the street from Jeannette's Pier so a great sunrise view."
