This older home has just been "freshened up" and will be ready to provide a  
  
wonderful Beach vacation!

We are pet friendly and offer the following amenities: Large Smart TV, High  
  
Speed Wi-Fi, Off-Street Parking, Gas Furnace for Heat, Window AC, Full Kitchen  
  
with Gas Stove, Back Deck, Charcoal Barbecue Grill, Two Queen Size Beds.   
  
This is an older home in very close proximity to the beach; ideal for the  
  
beach-lover looking for a cost-friendly option to vacation.  
  
This little beach cottage may not be for everyone. It is one of the last  
  
remaining beach boxes built during the 1940's. As such, there are vintage-  
  
touches still in place.  
  
Pink Flamingo has many of the original features such as tiled bathroom, gas  
  
stove, furnace heating system and windows. There have been some upgrades which  
  
include the window AC unit, new roof, fresh paint and flooring. If you are  
  
looking for modern perfection, this may not be for you. Our pictures are  
  
accurate and show the home as it is. We have tried to make it a cute,  
  
comfortable and an economical place for small families to enjoy our beautiful  
  
Chesapeake Bay Beaches.  
  
There is a brand new beach access stairway and boardwalk that will allow for  
  
easy access to the beach. Parking is right in front of your door, just off of  
  
Ocean View Ave. We are close enough to the beach that occasionally we can hear  
  
the waves, but the dune blocks our view. The walk to the beach is less than  
  
one minute if you hurry and there are no streets to cross.  
  
The bathroom has a stand up shower and is fully tiled. We have a small back  
  
deck which is a perfect place for outdoor dining and just relaxing in the  
  
shade.  
  
The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, silver, pots/pans, cups and glasses  
  
and will allow for cooking family meals. The dining area will be shared with  
  
the living room and is a bit small, but functional.  
  
Smoking is not allowed inside, however we are perfectly fine with it outside  
  
on the deck or porch.  
  
This is a family enterprise and as such we are happy to offer our home to  
  
families and smaller groups that are traveling or seeking to enjoy our  
  
beautiful beaches. No parties are allowed or tolerated. We do have neighbors  
  
close by and everyone is entitled (by law) to the "quiet enjoyment" of their  
  
homes - including you as our guest. Please respect your neighbors.   
  
\### \*\*Other things to note\*\*  
  
This is a family enterprise and as such we are happy to open our home to  
  
families and smaller groups that are traveling or seeking to enjoy our  
  
beautiful beaches. No parties are allowed or tolerated. We do have neighbors  
  
close by and everyone is entitled (by law) to the "quiet enjoyment" of their  
  
homes - including you as our guest. Please respect your neighbors. Any parties  
  
will be immediately shut down and evicted with the full forfeiture of all  
  
monies paid as well as the security deposit.  
  
Pet Fee is $99 per pet per stay plus tax and processing fees.   
  
If not disclosed prior to your stay, the pet fee is $300   
  
Pets must be house trained and stay off of bedding and furniture   
  
An Extra Cleaning fee of $99 will be charged to remove pet hair from bedding  
  
or furniture   
  
Extra Charges:   
  
Early Check-In for 1 PM - $75 (if available) Late Check-Out at 1 PM - $75 (if  
  
available)   
  
Normal Check Out is 10 AM. A fee of $45 per hour is charged beginning at  
  
10:05 AM   
  
Cleaners are on a schedule and can not be kept waiting!   
  
This is a Family/Residential unit and area. No loud music or noise. Quiet  
  
hours begin at 9 PM.

The Pink Flamingo is a vintage cottage that suited our needs perfectly. Walking distance to the beach, grocery stores near by and VA beach boardwalk a 30 minute drive away. Nice quiet area and quiet beach.

#### Horrible Host

The communication and customer service of the host was the worst Ive EVER experienced. They tried to charge hidden fees and when questioned told multiple stories. They also had appraiser show up at the property at 830 one of the morings of our stay eith no notification to theur guests stay there. There were hazards in the house and no interenet. If i could get a refund i absolutely would. The only good thing about our stay was the beautfiul location.
