The property was very picturesque, and we got to enjoy a beautiful moonrise over the canal from right outside our room!

I loved the location. Close to the Mystic Shops and Downtown Mystic. My room was clean had a jacuzzi tub which was very nice and updated. It had a porch with a great view. The room could use a little updating but all in all I enjoyed my stay

Nice place and nice location
We thoroughly enjoyed the place and the location. The bathroom was a little outdated, but everything else was great. Having a nice place to drink/eat that's in the same location made our weekend that much more enjoyable.

We stayed in a queen spa room for two nights in January of 2021. It was a very cold weekend. The view from the room was beautiful. We used the tub once the water was warm. The room had a few issues though. Took a shower in ice cold water. The room was being heated by a fake fireplace that plugs into the wall. We didn’t think it was safe to start the really fireplace since the vent wasn’t staying open. For the money I paid I expected better. Wouldn’t recommend hotel to friends or family.

There was no hot water to shower. When I checked they said oh we changed the boiler maybe that’s why. I will check it out. My reason for travel was to have family luncheon. On checking in they told me restaurant was open at 11 and much to the surprise the restaurant was not open until 3pm. Several voice messages had been left for restaurant to het information.

Amazing experience. The staff is awesome and the accommodations are so romantic. A jacuzzi tub, a fireplace in the room, private balcony. We had the greatest stay!

The place was very nice & comfortable the staff was nice and pleasant except for the gentlemen in the morning who displayed an attitude when we inquires about the continental breakfast and replied snotty that we only get a bag with muffins cereal n applesauce and then walked away without giving them to us . Otherwise it was great

The room was OK- however there was a leak above the jacuzzi so we couldn’t use it. It was coming out of the light fixture which was held together by duct tape. When we were leaving we found out there was also water coming up from the floor boards and my boyfriends clothes were soaked.

Our stay here was awesome! Just perfect. Beautiful view, giant jetted tub and fireplace in the room, breakfast included, everything was clean and sanitary. I highly recommend the Inn at Mystic, and we can't wait to come back sometime!!

Major snow storm while visiting! We enjoyed comfy beds, a huge tub for soaking, a fireplace to keep us warm, " grab & go" breakfast, beautiful water view....even a doe standing outside our room our 1st night! Centrally located, reasonably priced with resturant on premises (and come summer-a pool) Will definitely be back!

Mystic getaway
Spacious room with nice terrace which only lacked a couple of basic needs - namely a microwave and a bigger fridge. I know due to Covid the contintental breakfast was gonna be curtailed a little but other than the coffee there was mainly snacks with no bottled water. View from inn was great and it was close to many attractions like the Seaport. Free kayak usage was nice also Was not able to partake in the Sunday brunch but hope it was better than the contintental breakfast ! Nice restaurant on premises also. Great location for weddings with a mansion behind the inn that's used for such occasions

Thank you for review Lester. We do have amazing views from our property and you can't beat the free kayaking on a beautiful day! If you visit us again and are not satisfied with your breakfast just let us know. While we offer Starbucks coffee, juices and milk - we do also have bottled water for the guests. To keep everyone safe during this time, we gladly follow the CDC'S guidelines and only offer prepackaged foods for our breakfast. Luckily, we are able to include hard boiled eggs as well as fruit cups and applesauce along with granola bars, trail mix, muffins and doughnuts. We also have oatmeal and cold cereal. The Inn at Mystic on Sunday
We loved the room, exceptionally clean and the ability to start a fire in the fireplace with the free duralog they provided. The restaurant on site was good, great service and good food. The only thing I would bring attention to is that the offer online included free breakfast and when we inquired about free breakfast they said they do not offer it on Sunday's. So there was a miscommunication about that online. We talked to someone at the front desk that offered us a $10 coupon but we were looking for a free brunch because of the mix up. Other than that, I would stay there again.

Thank you for such a positive review Elizabeth. You truly cannot beat being cozy in your room next to a real fire. Our on-site restaurant is almost TOO good, I eat there every week! There was nothing I didn't love about this place. If you are looking for a hotel this isn't for you. If you're looking for a place that has ambiance and a small town feel this is for you!

Loved my stay!
I loved this place. I’d recommend it to anyone trying to find a safe getaway and I’m definitely planning on returning! The hot tub in the room was huge and the hot water was amazing. I wasn’t aware there was a fireplace but I given some logs upon check in and I was beyond happy!!! The room was spacious. Like other reviewers mentioned, the rooms are a bit outdated but it didn’t bother me. I didn’t go there to experience modern furniture after all! The bed was super high (which I personally like) but suuuuper squeaky. That said, it was still comfortable (bed is on the firm side which I prefer). The temperature control in the room was fantastic. We had a view of some body of water (river, lake, pond? I have no idea) that was very peaceful to look at. The towels are smaller than I expected which I just found funny unlike some other reviews. Overall, I am very pleased!
