Came back from the pool and a maintenance worker from the rental company was trying to enter our room unannounced which was alarming. Rental company offered a late check out due to the inconvenience. However they never updated the lockbox to reflect that causing our family to be locked out. Each time we contacted the rental company we were routed to a call center. The property management company was exceptional; highly communicative and responsive if we had questions. The unit itself was very inviting, well decorated although some of the nightstands could do with a fresh coat of paint. Furniture was nice and beds were very comfortable. The blankets, sheets and pillows were clean (always a good thing). Kitchen is well-stocked and cookware/utensils were in good shape. Balcony was really nice, long enough to comfortably hold 4-6 people and on the corner of the building, so you don’t feel walled in like at other properties. Even better, there is a lot of space between Camelot by-the-sea and adjacent condo towers, making the deck even more enjoyable. Location was fantastic; right off 21st Avenue and within walking distances of coffee shops and restaurants. We had a lovely time and will return. ##### RICHARD T. But the cleaning was sub par. I understand we’re staying on the beach so sand is inevitable but the floors were filthy the carpet we shook out and dirt flew everywhere. My mom and I ended up having to wipe up the floors with wet paper towels because I had a baby crawling around who was getting dirty anytime I put him down.
