The property was well maintained, nice pool with a view of the sea. The rooms were basic, beds were comfortable and had a mini-fridge. The bathroom was spacious but didn't have any hooks for towels or shelf in shower to sit anything, a bit odd. The air-conditioning worked great. The location was convenient with a few restaurants, cafes, and spectacular sunset views all within 5-10 minutes walk. 15 minute walk into the city center but coming back is all up hill. Taking the bus here was very easy & cheap. Finally, the free shuttle to/from the ferry was a nice bonus.

It was far enough from the noise in Mykonos but close enough to still walk to the main attractions. The hotel was clean and the staff was nice! My only suggestion is towel hooks are needed in the bathroom and at least one stand for luggage in the bedroom. The sunset from the pool area was really beautiful!

We loved it at Margies. The pool area is stunning, the breakfast area too, and the room was lovely. The best thing is probably the service though, the staff were lovely and really helpful. Short walk down into the town but nice and quiet at the hotel. Great Mexican restaurant across the road too. Can’t recommend enough.

Didn’t know there is no taxi services allowed at the airport, so we were picked up and dropped off at the airport by a very professional and helpful driver in a beautiful hotel van. Receptionist was very friendly and gave us great information. Huge room, big outdoor patio Beautiful pool area with view and a nice bar. Electricity keeps shutting off and on, which I’m sure it’s not hotel’s fault, just have to turn the air on after each time. Strong air conditioning. No separate shower, therefore no doors if one wants to take american shower with fixed shower head, water can be everywhere. One can start the 15 minute walk to town and the seaport by using an underground path next to the hotel, to cross a busy street, then it’s straight down with only a little section of on-street walking. This was much better than expected from all the reviews I have read. It is mostly steps and flat surfaces with one little section of cobblestone, I was surprised to find I only needed one rest coming back up to the hotel.

My daughter and I were on vacation elsewhere and she had food poisoning and had to cut the trip short so we couldn’t stay. ZERO sympathy from the admin - my first email went unanswered - and refused to consider even partial refund. Seriously, (a) it’s an insane summer for travel so the likelihood they couldn’t get someone else to stay instead was zero; (b) have some compassion, one of your guests was ill. Brutal. Guess it’s all about the guest’s dollar/euro value. Efaristo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Margie. The staff were friendly and the accomodation was very comfortable. It would be good to see the hotel industry of Mykonos lobbying for more environmentally friendly practices. There is excessive rubbish on the streets and no visible effort to separate waste and recycle. Also the footpaths around the Margie hotel are in bad condition.

Wonderful Margie!
The staff atn the Margie are amazing: nothing is too much trouble and they always have a greeting and a smile. I would say the hotel is more four stars than three, everything is a high standard. The only thing that troubled us was the volume of traffic on the surrouning roads. It is very difficult to walk alongside the roads because the pathways are just verges. The hill into the main town is STEEP, and the terrain uneven, such that my wife couldn't wear her preferred shoes to go out in the evening! And you have to cross to very busy roads which was quite daunting with the volume of holiday motorbikes and buggies on the road. Definitely use a taxi to get back at night. All that being said, we had a wonderfully relaxing holiday, spending our days at the Margie pool: the sunbeds are really comfortable!

We had a really lovely stay at the end of September and were looked after by very friendly and accommodating staff. The facilities were lovely and also very clean. The view from the pool was amazing to watch the sunset and the bar by the pool was very reasonably priced especially for Mykonos!

Wonderful hotel. The breakfast is excellent, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff was awesome. Especially Kevin who was very helpful with all of our questions. A short 10 min walk down a pedestrian path into the town from the hotel. The hotel also was able to set up transfer to and from the port.

The property was brilliant. Amazing location, really nice pool, simple but lovely rooms - we were lucky enough to get a view out to sea from ours. Very good price for the service you receive. The staff make the hotel - I would like to give a special mention to Nicolas, who was amazing at looking after us and giving recommendations of where to go.

I didn’t mind the hotel’s location in Mykonos town, a 15 minute walk to the restaurants and shops but prepare to exercise. Most of the walkways are not paved and there are a lot of steps and steep hills. I did love the staff at the Margie, especially Nicko.

Beautiful room, very large and updated. We rented a car to get around but I think you can get a bus close by. Also, breakfast was included and it was delicious. You can sit by the pool and watch the sunset.
