"On arrival we were immediately told "no breakfast" which was really disappointing since we had a long journey ahead of us and would have liked at least a coffee to start the day! We ended up at a nearby bar and bought coffee and fortunately, the last 2 croissants they had. The room did not smell very pleasant and we would not stay again."

"Adequate overnight stop off the afternoon sailing from Portsmouth. You can see the hotel as soon as you exit the dock. Late check in available if the ferry is late. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Quite a basic room, no tea or coffee in the room or bottles of water. Room was small with 2 twin beds. Beds very comfortable and shower good. Breakfast was a good assortment, although there were many comments overheard from the guests if you didn't get breakfast early enough all the hot food was gone. I thought the room was quite expensive as it was basic, but I guess you are paying for the location if you need an overnight stay before any long drive to the rest of France."

"We have stayed in villas in other locations and other countries. This was a 10/10! Perfect location for all the Normandie sites and a fabulous beach town on its own! So much to do and see right in town. Great restaurants and a wonderful outdoor market on Friday morning! Host was available and ensured we had everything we needed! Towels and bed linen included which was necessary when flying to France. Highly recommend! "

"This hotel is close to the beach and ideal for the ferry as it’s only 10 minute drive. Very clean and friendly, definitely recommend it for short or long stays. "
