"Interesting to stay in an authentic Soviet hotel. The rooms and hotel have retained the architecture even if it feels outdated. The room was large with lots of oak furniture but could be cleaner. They had ran out of hot water in the evenings. The breakfast was adequate. There should be more tables to cater to lots of guests. The restaurant on the top floor is good and very well priced. There is a bar there too. There are windows overlooking the city and a perfect sunset view."

"The Istaravshan Apartments were in an excellent location in the centre of the Tashkent City Park area and close to a Metro Station. There are Restaurants, Cafe's and shops in the vicinity of the Apartments and they are very close to the Tashkent City Park with its nightly Water Feature Shows. The Apartments are linked to the Holiday Inn Hotel for breakfasts. The Apartment was clean and well maintained during my stay."
