Well its the first 4 star hotel I have ever stayed in that charges for a kettle in the room, and charges to park your car in an empty car park, has no bar or restaurant available. Also when trying to check out 6.30am the receptionist could not find my bill, 20mins wait, so as we had to get to Alicante to catch my flight we had to to leave, then he could not open the gate to let me out. Was stressed to say the least. I know its out of season, but come on you are supposed to be 4 star

Great if your a 3 year old
Amazing hotel for family’s with under eights and babies. Loads of activities and a really good animation team. Nice kid friendly pool and play area. Very Spanish lots of families meet over weekend. Restaurant very clean but food for us was poor variety and repetitive. Nice coffee and choice at breakfast. Beach is across the busy road very quiet siring weekdays comes alive at weekend

Hotel just in front of a small port and easily walkable to the main port where bars and restaurants available. The hotel is lovely and clean we didnt eat in there but plenty people did. There is a bar inside and the drinks were reasonably priced. Also a outside bar but it was only open at the weekend. The pool is lovely. Would definitely rate it a 4 star. And if returning to the area would go there again.

Proximity of property good. No English TV Channels even though reception desk said BBC News was available. No information in rooms regarding safe or phone number for Reception.

Great hotel, well maintained Our second visit, we thought that the fact that the food was so bad last time, must have been an exception, but allowing for the fact that the hotel has changed ownership, it was even worse this time!

Honest review. As a family with 2 children we stayed here for 2 nights on a full board basis. The hotel is in excellent condition, well kept, clean and modern. The pool area is spotless however the roof terrace was closed when we were there in April. 10/10 for the way food is presented, they go above and beyond to make sure it all looks perfect. The kitchen staff and waitresses work really hard. Staff were understanding when we had problems with a leaking iron, I definitely recommend that they change the iron board covers as they're extremely worn. The location is near the beach with a small port around the corner, make sure you find the look out point there. However if you want to explore or go shopping you'll need to travel further out. The late check out option is a bargain, don't hesitate one second.

Hotel Dos Playas has all the facilities you would expect from a modern 4-star hotel, including excellent adult and childrens outdoor pools with a large lounging area. All areas are spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly. There are restaurants within a 15-20 minute walk (not all are open during low season). There are a few negative points - The hotel wi-fi is extremely poor (based on a "ocean view" room on the 4th floor and also the breakfast area). The car park is very expensive at €15 per night (there is plenty of safe free local street parking). The room dividing walls are lightweight plasterboard and there is quite a lot of noise transmission between rooms and also from above. Breakfast is good, but evening meals are basic. There is no bicycle hire, which is a shame, as there doesn't seem to be no other alternative locally.

Food good, room lovely, pool rules excellent but not enough umbrellas, there needs to be one umbrella for every two beds as it’s dangerous to be by pool with no shade in the extreme temperatures

30 Degrees is somewhat of an oasis in terms of the surrounding area which to be honest looks a bit derelict with empty buildings and rubbish in the streets. In fairness I found most of Puerto Mazarron to be a bit down at heel and wouldn’t return. The small beach opposite is nice with a couple of cafes. The hotel is nicely designed, great rooms, friendly desk staff and the breakfast choices were great. I didn’t take lunch or dinner.

The room was spacious and the balcony had a beautiful view. The staff was absolutely wonderful. The pools and play areas outside really looked perfect for families with younger kids. What we would have like is a little cafe for lunch/dinner instead of having to do the full buffet. Some nights we weren't that hungry. Also as we were there in October, we were really surprised to see everything around us closed - like a ghost town. So would highly recommend this during the season when it's busy with lots of stuff open, but off season really only for those who want a lovely beach and/or pool to lay in the sun.
