Great location by the train station, but a very limited hotel. The rooms were tiny, the pillows the worst, and unfriendly front desk. For a little more you get much better facilities next door. Skip this Leonardo, the London ones are better.

Munich Christmas Market long weekend
Content with our stay, clean room, good location and proximity to main train station and Christmas Markets. Only issue was no Wifi for the duration of our stay, due to the heavy snow in the preceding days apparently affecting the street that the hotel was in - irrespective of the issue being out of the control of the hotel, it did reflect negatively on the overall trip.

Staff were great, both day and night shifts. They tried to be helpful with our various questions. Location was very close to the Main Train station and short walk to a lot of sightseeing. There is also a Lidl store for essential food items at the end of the block and a handy mini fridge in the room. Only complaint is that the bed was uncomfortable. The mattress springy and pillows (one very big and one very small) were too soft and flat. We enjoyed the location the best and price was reasonable.

The screw, Deltron, what is dirty, and the property behind the hotel is very dismal and depressing. There is one tiny Ortega that went way too slow.

This place was really not clean. The courtesy body wash was empty from day one and never replaced. We mentioned this but it was ignored. The entire hotel was very small. No space for parking or very narrow. Our room was tiny and the toilet bowl was directly next to the bed. There was a glass door but it did not help to manage the smell and the noise when somebody was using. It was not a pleasant stay. I can not recommend.

The room was just ok. When the guy at the desk found out I was only staying 1 night, he stuck me on the lowest floor with the windows facing the street. Literally all night I heard loud noises and smelled smoke coming into my windows. The AC apparently did not work. Will never stay again

This was the tiniest room. There was maybe a foot to get past the end of the bed, which was hard as a rock. Nowhere to put luggage, so it went on the floor. The AC barely worked. I woke up every night, overheating. I had to crack the window to get fresh air, but then ran the risk of hearing random people’s conversations at 2:30am on the patio below. The bathroom is right next to the bed, so you’re partner will hear everything you do in there due to the sliding glass door that separates it. It is painfully small and the shower and tile grout seemed to be unclean-maybe mildew. They charge 1600 euro for 4 nights for this nonsense because it’s Oktoberfest time and then charge extra for breakfast. The location is sketchy, but across the street from the HBF and 15 minutes from the Oktoberfest grounds, the Wiesen. You can opt to “help save water” by not getting your room cleaned for 3 days as the only option, not 2 which would have been better. I had to go ask for more toilet paper and towels. The guys at the front desk: not the friendliest. The tiny elevator (barely room for 2 people and luggage) was broken at least one day. The whole experience put me off to Munich. It’s sad because I used to absolutely love Germany and wanted my boyfriend to love it, too. This hotel ruined the evening portion of our trip. Also, don’t buy the optional hotel insurance on Orbitz. Get separate ins. The insurance company is non responsive & once you’ve paid, that money is gone.

Hotel was good. Checked all the boxes. I do wish the rooms had been a little cooler. They had AC, but it did not work very well and it was an unusually hot September. I also wish the staff had been a little friendlier. Some were great! Others seemed like when you asked them things it was a bother. Also wish breakfast had been better. For 19 euro I would skip it. Not worth the cost. But all in all a good experience. Just minor complaints!

Very nice hotel. Great location.
Our stay was wonderful. The hotel is a located two blocks from the main train station and a few blocks from old town Munich. It is also a short walk to Oktoberfest, if you are in Munich for that. The hotel is clean and quiet. There is a bank at the corner of the street if you need to change money. Several coffee shops within a block or two. A Lidl at the end of the street if you need water or snacks. I would stay at this hotel again.

We just got back today from Five nights at the Leonardo. On the plus side the hotel is located beside the main train station and really close to Airport Coach stop. The breakfast was excellent and the girls on duty each morning were very helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in was really cramped and I’ve seen larger bathrooms in Caravans. The local area is quite run down and rough and it was really noisy at nights. The almost none existent air conditioning meant we had a lot of very hot sweaty sleepless nights and we couldn’t open the windows because of the outside noises of yelling and arguments in the surrounding area. This might suit young folk on a budget, but the next time we visit Munich, we’ll be staying elsewhere.

The air condition is not working in whole hotel and there is no any plans to fix it in the near future. Very hot and stuffed air does not allow to get good sleep at night. Very bad so called pillows would add to this discomfort. Could not complain about mattress. Could not complain about breakfast either. Walking distance to old city center. Central station and transportation are close by.

The property was clean and convenient. The hotel did not have air conditioning during our stay. It was warm in the room and we had to leave windows open. The location was vibrant, with much activity on the streets and nearby making it loud to leave windows open. The hotel provided fans to help with the room temperature comfort, but they were old an noisy. It would have been nice to have known the property wouldn’t have the A/C working, but it didn’t seem to be mechanical malfunction, just that the hotel wasn’t providing A/C. We would have likely picked a different hotel if we knew this.

Very close to the main train and bus stations. Also a short walk to the historic city centre. The hotel was warm and the area is noisy with the windows open, but the front desk gave us a fan to cool off the room. Rooms are small but had everything we needed.

Pictures are not the same as the standard room for 1 person , which is i got surprised once i arrived to the smell - small room - and uncomfortable room , I m so disappointed to this hotel and they need to change the pictures posted online to reality so customers can get the real pictures. I paid full amount of my stay and they didnt even get me half refund or helped me out with upgrade. Sorry but worse hotel i been to in my life.

Enjoyed a four night stay here. Check in was quick and easy. My room was very clean and beyond sufficient. Size was a bit on the small side but was spacious enough for one. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, plenty of outlets both at the desk and by the bed. The breakfast was good with a variety of options every morning. The staff was incredible and could not have been friendlier or more helpful. All and all, a great hotel with an excellent staff. I will definitely stay here again.
