We literally used it on a stopover for the night. It was perfectly nice, clean and comfortable for somewhere to lay your head andca warm shower and very convenient for the station. Perfect for single travellers, those on a budget, night stopover, not the place for an extended romantic break with your partner if your looking for a bit of luxury though. Didnt try the breakfast as had to leave early but free central zone transport pass was a bonus.

Located 50 metres from station entrance. Usual good standard of room, fridge,kettle,decent bathroom and excellent soundproofing. Breakfast again typical Inter City quality with excellent choice

For convenience to the train station, its perfect. The rooms are pretty run down, though, and very small; we couldn't even open our suitcase without putting it on the bed. staff was pleasant and breakfast was good. For one night, it was fine, more than that, not really

I travel to Munich at least once a year and have frequently stayed at this property. This time we were stolen from. When returned from our day out we found that we were unable to open the safe. The next morning we called the front desk and they came and opened it. Everything was there minus $200. When we complained to the desk the said it was the weekend and no one was available to handle our complaint. When we finally found someone to talk to they told us we should call the police. No help at all. In today’s electronic age it should be simple to track who entered a room other than myself. At least pretend to care and investigate it. Beware of this hotel. Great location but staff is not helpful. Do not use the hotel safes!

Decent value for the money
The room was renovated and nice but the corridor and hotel lobby are definitely tired. Having said that, the price was very competitive and the location is super convenient. A bit strange was that at 8.45 some hotel employee knocked at the door and pretty much opened the door at the same time as he knocked. I did not have a do not disturb sign at the door but still I don't see the need to come into the room relatively early (especially on a Saturday), especially since I was checking out on this day and they could easily see that the guest had not yet checked out.

The location is ideal for travel within and outside the city. The free local travel ticket certainly helped.. The cleanliness is superior. Breakfast had an excellent variety. The comfortable bedding was terrific after a day of site seeing and shopping. The staff is friendly and helpful. I stayed there 10 years ago and loved it as much as my recent visit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I was really disappointed staying there. I have realized that some rooms are renovated, but the room I stayed was very old and dirty. It was also very small to stay. I do not think it is a four star hotel. I think it is 2 or 2.5 hotel. Even if rooms are available, I wanted to check in around 1:35-1:40 (20-25 minutes before the check-in time). One person in the lobby wanted to charge me 20 Euro for it. The other guy was nicer and said it was okay to check in a little bit early. The breakfast was really good, but the room was not comfortable. I also smelt smoking. I think it was a smoking room before. Other issue was that the room was very cold during the night. It appeared that they were switching off heat during the night. The location was great, however. Overall, I will never stay in this hotel again.

Superb location
Great location ever! (Right next to the central station) The breakfast was great and staffs were welcoming. It’s quite old hotel so the facilities weren’t good but clean enough. For short stays it’d be highly recommended.

Comfortable stay for Oktoberfest
Great location for exploring Munich or attending Oktoberfest. Located next to trains, trams and town. The staff check us in a little early which was a nice surprise and gave us Lebküchnen at check in. The free transportation cards were a bonus as well. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The breakfast was great and plentiful along with service. We will definitely come back!

For the price I expected more. The room was OK, but the bathroom was tiny. Towels were thin and small. Dining room/bar had no atmosphere although the staff were friendly. These are not big issues in themselves but all go towards making a good or poor impression. Thus I felt it was adequate but not great.

Clean and spacious. Perfect location next to the train station and to the public transportation. The breakfast was delicious and a transportation pass is included with the stay. Everyone was very friendly. They even gave us an Oktoberfest souvenir!

Very friendly and helpful at the front desk. The adjoining restaurant breakfast was excellent and Hassan, who worked in the evening was especially friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we can back to Munich. Location is very centrally located and convenient.

Amazing location with a view. Awful bed.
Love the location. Literally next to the main central train station. Super convenient to get around. Safe neighborhood. Walking distance to Oktoberfest 15 minute walk. 24 hour Burger King next door. Unfortunately I got a terrible bed. Could not fall asleep even though I was super tired.
