Definitely Not a 4 star hotel. It feels like an outdated 2 star. Street noise is also a major concern if a good night sleep is important for you.

Mold in shower, elevated bathtub was hazardous to step out of, and poor plumbing caused horrendous smell when the sink was ran. Despite the conditions, the staff was very accommodating.

The cleanliness of the bathroom was lacking a bit with some obvious grime still present in the shower and floor tiles . The bathroom seemed outdated with tub instead of a shower.

The bed was not comfortable, we had to open the window as it was too hot (in january), unfortunately it was very noisy outside we didn't sleep well. The shower head was on a wall facing outside the bath which meant the floor got wet if you weren't careful. Apart from that it was clean and in a good location close to the city centre. The staff were nice.

Overall we enjoyed our stay - close to the station and easy to get to and get around from. Only issue we faced was that our safe didn’t work in our room and after we told staff, it never was repaired across the 3 nights we were there.

1. I put on “do not disturb” signal outside my room, but the cleaning staff came in and cleaned my room. The most horrible thing was that the staff took away one of my key card left in the room after she cleaned my room. 2. The toilet of the room smelled really bad. The drainage system seemed to be really old and with problem. 3. The room was very old and worn out. The light was also very dim. I didn’t feel comfortable in the room. 4. There is only one staff at the reception every time. We always needed to wait for very long for the service. In general, I do not recommend this hotel at all. It was a terrible experience.

Hotel crystal is in a very good location in Munich is just 2 minute walk to central train station and you have so many restaurants around i definitely recommend this hotel

Great location and staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms where clean. Would say its a nice hotel and it has 4 star rating, maybe it did at one time. i personally think its a great 3 star hotel. One think i didn't like was the cleaner on the 5th floor every morning about 8:00/8:30 smashing around in the corridor with the hoover. No chance of a lay in if you wanted one.

This was a modern, updated hotel very close to the Old City center. However, the neighborhood is a little sketchy at night. Tons of casinos, sports betting halls, and strip clubs all around. It’s very noisy on the street side of the hotel also. Our room (406) didn’t have working air conditioning, which I reported after the first night, but it was not fixed, so we had to sleep with the window open. That was not optimal, but necessary. The bar area was a ton of fun at night, Carlos is an excellent bartender that kept the fun tunes going! I would go back, but I would have a room off the street next time.

Hotel’s location is excellent. 5 minute walk from the main train station which you can get to anywhere from. Receptionist told us to buy a 4 day ticket which worked out so good value.

Rooms were quite old and bathroom very old standards. Breakfast was poor and almost empty when we arrived before 8 (breakfast lasted until 10)
