The property is an average older place, needs updating, and is not in the best of repair. The best part of the hotel are the saunas. All three of them. Three!! The room I was assigned reeked of smoke. As in old, in the walls and floor smoke, not like the room that had recently been smoked in. The nice lady at the front desk attempted to move me, but the other options were no different. Speaking at the front desk, the only person that is remotely concerned with assisting guests and taking care of customers is the lady. All the men are not helpful at all. Also, be aware that the rooms have down pillows and duvet, and it takes a fight with the staff to get anything else. The TV didn't work. The kitchenette, and range top did not work so I was unable to actually heat any food. And I gave up trying to get the front desk to do anything after asking four times.

Good location for Octoberfest. Hotel room was nice and quiet. Close to bus stop for getting to Hbf. Grocery store is located right next to the hotel.

Great hotel and restaurant
This is a wonderful hotel that is conveniently located a short taxi ride from the Munich train station. The property is inviting and very well priced for what you get. I would absolutely stay there again.

This hotel is awesome. Perfect for visiting downtown Munich, Oktoberfest, or the river area. The hotel has a very good breakfast option, paid laundry service and even spa/massage (you need to make appointments ahead of time). The staff is very helpful. Would stay here again!

We had such a lovely experience. The airlines lost all of our luggage and the staff were truly so kind and were as helpful as they could be. The room, by European standards, was very well-appointed. We loved having the sleeping loft and the downstairs living area. The only thing that dampened things a bit is that the bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were pretty flat. A minor issue overall, though. The location is perfect - it’s tucked away in a quaint part of the city within walking distance to everything. We would absolutely stay here again.

Room was pretty good. Staff was helpful to some extent; some more than others. Also, while some staff appeared to try to be helpful, they were not always very informed. Also, the laundry facilities and arrangements were stupid beyond belief.

Loved that it had air conditioning. Stayed here for Oktoberfest. Not a bad walk, about 20 minutes. Surprised how quiet it was at night even with it being Oktoberfest time

This was a wonderful place to stay. Convenient access to the City nestled in a quiet charming neighborhood with close proximity to local restaurants. But most importantly, modern and well appointed guest rooms. Staff were very helpful….and make sure to start your day with the in-house breakfast.

We stayed here during OktoberFest for 2 nights and the location was convenient to the Festival. The Hotel itself was fine, and it was nice to have 2 complimentary beers awaiting, however when we got to the room the wheels fell off. The room was very dark, had strange red carpet, dark walls and was not warm and inviting in the least. We discovered that the table lamp outlet on one side of the bed wasn’t working so couldn’t read to get to sleep. The shower had multiple holes filled with caulking that had mold, the small flap of a shower door is about 1/3rd the size it should be, so when you take a shower the entire floor of the bathroom gets wet. We had called down to the front desk to see what they could do and instead of just sending us to a different room (with working lights), they offered to have the technician come. So we are supposed to have a person we don’t know in our room for hours to fix things that should be working to begin with? They should have just moved us to a different room, I don’t get it. So we left things as is, but brought this up when we checked out and were met with absolutely ZERO empathy from the guy at the front desk. Not even a “sorry about this”, he just shrugged his shoulders and said “that’s the way it is in Hotels”. I am not kidding, this happened to me, i was shocked. We asked who in management we could speak to and all he gave us was an email address and the best part? He would NOT give us his name!! Seriously it was. Unbelievable.

Great location. Front staff could have been friendlier and more helpful with common questions Room was ok clean but a lot of dust and pens and garbage in areas that weee not seen right away. Like under tables and stuff. Breakfast was not worth it. Do not order the option to buy and do not even go there. Walking a few blocks up the street you will get better food coffee and service. Staff seemed annoyed to help you at all.

We enjoyed a corner apartment: plenty of light and views of the streets from the floor-to-ceiling windows. Well appointed sizable bedroom, living room and bathroom. The kitchenette is very compact, but has everything required. Pleasant decor. Hotel staff were super friendly & helpful. Hotel laundry, sauna and fitness centre are all very well set up and a pleasure to use. Great location - a block from the river, a pleasant walk to the city centre, and with a supermarket right next door.

The area around this hotel is wonderful, the hotel itself is also very comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff at check in was not very welcoming and even made a serious mistake on the billing side, which we fortunately worked out before it became a real problem.

Super-convenient location to Oktoberfest and Hauptbahnhof, but tucked away by the river, far enough away from the beaten path downtown. Room had a homelike feel, with a small kitchenette & sofa plus (nice touch) 2 local beers per day in the fridge. Good breakfast & restaurants in walking distance. The sauna really helped kick a travel cold too.

Good value for money
Good hotel, good value for money, I personally thought the mattresses were a bit soft but that's personal preference. Everything was nice, good breakfast buffet. The hotel is a little bit away from the main tourist attractions, about 25-30 mins walk to Marienplatz, there is also no metro or tram stop next to it (the nearest is a good 10 mins walk). But good value for money and pretty good for a couple of days in Munich.

Receptionists in this hotel can be really cold and indifferent. Also, it would be nice if they had American charging adapters for guests to borrow. Housekeeping basically just replaced the towels and took the trash out. This is a rather old hotel. The floor tiles were broken or lose. The hairdryer didn’t work.
