It's a good hotel and close to the railway station. Room was a bit small and being close to reception I was worried it'd be noisy but it was fine

Fantastic!! The hotel is beautiful, clean, spacious rooms, beautiful bathrooms, bar area gorgeous, included breakfast was amazing, the reception staff was ent above and beyond with everything!! The cleaning people A service!!! Highly highly recommended!!! We will be back!!!

Quiet nice hotel, convenient location at the main train station. Walkable distance to the Marienplatz and all niceties of downtown Munich. IMy room was clean and updated. The only concern was the absence of English speaking channels on TV but the have a free Wifi and was able to use my tablet to get the news

Nice hotel close to the HBF
Arthotel is a really nice hotel within a short walk from the HBF. The staff was wonderful. They were very professional and helpful. I would continue using the hotel every time i come back to Munich. I have and will continue to recommend the hotel.

Great location
Very convenient to train station, friendly staff & good breakfast. Only complaint was that the pull out sofa was wobbly & creaky & had a lot of dirt/dust underneath it.

Price is great
I would definitely stay here again. Loved the free breakfast in the morning that was so yummy! Location is great, staff was super friendly. Rooms are simple but clean. Nice having a futon type couch to sit on as well as the beds. The only thing that I didn’t like was the pillows.

The staff were excellent, located close to main station and Old town. The breakfast was amazing. Rooms had lots of storage for 4 people. Bathroom had a nice large shower. The only down side was it’s located on a very busy street with lots of police sirens so bring ear plugs.

Close to main railway station
Modern style interior - we had a large bedroom and large shower room. Clean and quiet (we were at the rear of the hotel). Fairly good choice at breakfast, enough to get ready for a day sightseeing. Takes about 15 mins to get to Rathaus and Marienplatz, very close to main railway station (Hauptbarnhof) though the area is under development and a little on the 'shabby' side. I am sure that in a few years time, it will be rather different

All the staffs are very nice and helpful. Hotel is very nice and has very good location just next to the main train station. Breakfast is very good. After got back from Salzburg. Booked another night in this hotel again .

I’ve stayed there 2 nights but they didn’t change towels so I just use one twice. More bad is that that is the result of room cleaning in 2nd day.

A great base
Our room was quiet and spacious. I liked the extra door separating the bed area to the door as this made it very quiet. However, our beds were too squishy and we only had one thin pillow. The breakfast was excellent. It is looking a little tired and could do with a refresh, and the art is questionable, but that doesn’t detract from the overall experience. It is a good 30 minute walk from Marienplatz, but the train station is 5 minutes away.

A/C didn't work - we got there late, called down to front desk and she came up to look at it, she said it seems like it should work so if it didn't get cooler let her know in a little bit. Well at this point it was 11pm so we went to sleep. Told them in morning it was not working and they said they'd tell engineer about it (who would be there a little later). We got back from all day tour and found out they never had the engineer look at our room (but he did look at others apparently). No notes left from 1 reception person for the next one on duty. So they brought up 2 fans. Couldn't move us to another room because they were sold out. Reception staff was generally nice (the woman the first night that tried to help w/ a/c and the guy the next night that brought the fans) but a few times when I walked up to the front desk the other staff didn't even acknowledge me. They continued looking at their screens or talking among themselves until I said something Room itself - Plain, boring - the pictures make it look modern with its scarcity of furniture, etc. but it's not. Is not much better than a dorm room. Area around is a little sketchy. Did not feel as safe walking around this area. I know this place isn't very expensive but it wasn't even worth what we paid.

The hotel was old, basic bed, the towels were thin. The air conditioning was not working in our room, they offer the use of a fan. Breakfast was good, but limited hot items.

Highly recommend for a stay in Munich
This hotel was a great choice for our 3-night stay in Munich or Oktoberfest. My friends and I have done this trip 4 times, and this has been by far our favorite. The staff was friendly, rooms were clean and spacious, and the breakfast was a great added bonus.
