The front desk manager, Sebastian, and the clerk, Marcos, went above and beyond to assist and serve us during our stay in Munich. We found ourselves in a bind and they graciously helped make our stay so much better. We will never forget their kindness.

Arrived in the city very early so popped to the hotel to drop off my bag. They happily obliged and I checked my reservation which they confirmed. I couldn’t get in the room until 3pm which I understood and had a day sightseeing planned anyway. I returned at just before 3pm and just checked to see if I can now get into the room ( I was prepared to wait and have a drink) , there was some nervous chat and hasty typing on the computer as it appeared there was no rooms ( travelling nightmare). Now to their credit they said it’s ok and there was a lot of German chat before saying they will upgrade me to a larger room which was a relief, however with the maintenance visibly going on in the hotel I couldn’t use the water or loo until 5pm. I wasn’t that bothered as I was hoping to have a quick nap before venturing out again later, but wasn’t the experience I was expecting. I had the sleep , checked at 5pm and all was ok to go. I can’t fault the staff or the rest of my stay in a very qwerky pleasant, convenient hotel. I was just alarmed that what would have happened if there really was no room even though I had a confirmation of a booking. The bar was lovely and had a great atmosphere, Breakfast was a buffet and was excellent. Room was clean and spacious, The cleaners kept trying to come in but I should have left a thing on the door so my bad. I’d stay again but would probably ring ahead to check all was ok, but I shouldn’t have too. I would regardless of this recommend it.

New Year's Eve - Hotel in Munich
Really enjoyed our stay at 25hours Hotel in Munich. The service was excellent. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were kind and helpful. We very much liked the overall design of the hotel, quirky and a fun original style. Our room was large and very comfortable. My only minor gripe in the room was that the even with all the lights on the room was dimly lit. Also, and this isn't just for this hotel, why do hotel room designers now insist on putting bathroom sinks in the room rather than the actual bathroom? Is this a space saving idea or just trying to be 'designery' (if there is such a word :-). For us personally, putting the sink outside the bathroom ends up being an inconvenience as we have had this in other hotels. Please hotel designers, put the sinks back in the bathrooom!

Great hotel above main train station.
Very conveniently located right above the main train station. The rooms are very modern and well decorated. The front desk staff is very friendly and multilingual. At first I was worried about the bar noise when we arrived, but it was sound-proof inside the room so it wasn't a problem. Would stay here again.

We would absolutely stay there again. This Hotel is very unique and cozy with an outstanding staff located within walking distance to everything. The restaurant had delicious food and great atmosphere.

Hotel is difficult to find even though close to train station. Building sign is same color as building. No clear signage at entry. If it not for the restaurant hostess, would not have known we found the place. The rooms are not user friendly. No Chair, No desk, No place to put luggage. Got to be 7 foot tall to use hangers. Only 1 cup provided. Pillows are flat. All light switches are black on black wall. Can not find when entering room.

Uncomfortable stay
We were a family group of 7 ranging from 80 to 55 and stayed for 4 nights. The bed was very comfortable but the rooms lacked other comforts and very very limited storage for clothes, places to place personal effects etc. The seating in the lounge is very low level so for older people again very uncomfortable. Seems the hotel is aimed at those staying 1-2 nights only and for younger generations. Breakfast was excellent but overall a thumbs down from us and we won’t use it again.

Great boutique hotel with cool modern design. Really great location across the street from the main Munich train station. And in easy walking distance to the old historical town entrance. I have stayed here twice and definitely would come back.

World class hotel with great character. Every little detail in the hotel is paid attention to, and adds to the overall antique feel. Location can't get any better, main train station is a stones throw away and Augistiner is close by too. We had a medium room, which was quite spacious for Europe. Spa was only open 3pm to 11pm which was somewhat strange, so we didnt have a chance to try it. Only negative I can think of is that reception was always quite busy and had to wait to check-in. There was always 2 or 3 staff there, so this might be just since it is a busy hotel. Staff was helpful and helped print our tickets for the Bayern Munich game. Despite the business and location next to a main train station, the rooms must have been soundproofed as they were very quiet. If you listened very closely you could sometimes hear the rumble of a train, but it was very quiet. Right in the middle of Munich, this was one of the best parts. Room was very dark as well so it was great to sleep in. Breakfast was among the best we've had in Europe, high quality hotel breakfast. Would come back to this hotel, and would check out other locations in the 25 hour hotel.

It's clear a lot of effort went into the design. It hits on some cases ex. restaurant, but misses in others ex dark walls in halls and rooms. Cleanliness of linens and beds was good, but other things in the room needed better cleaning. Found 2 hairs on the shower tile, floors needed cleaning. Rooms weren't well lit. Bathroom sink stopper didn't work. The stocked mini fridge was a nice amenity. The front desk took my laundry on Friday, but didn't bother to tell me they don't do laundry over the weekends. What 4 star hotel has limited laundry service? At early Monday morning checkout, their system was doing an update, so the clerk couldn't complete checkout, took my email ( which didn't transfer from hotels.com) and said I'd get a receipt later in the day. That didn't happen. The location right next to Hauptbahnhof is the biggest benefit, but not enough for me to want to stay again.

If you like quirky hotels then you will like this hotel. We had a loft room that felt spacious and homely. Watered down the soap which was a bit annoying plus it could have done with 2 comfortable chairs. The boiler man bar serves great cocktails if that’s your thing. Convenient position next to central train station and walking distance to Marianplatz. We enjoyed staying here

Artfully decorated hotel amidst the hustle n bustle of Muc HBF. The rooms was amazingly beautiful. Proximity to transportation is indeed a plus point. Only comment is that housekeeping may need to pay attention in replenishing the coffee/tea and minibar items which was included in the room rate.

To be completely fair, the stay was a five star overall. We are being picky and saying that everything was perfect except, and we are being picky. The mattresses were a bit floor like and we did not know about all the construction outside. This is us being picky picky. Other than that, if we were to come back to germany. This was such a charming place to stay! Loved the decor, the cozy atmosphere, and the location! Super close to the train station which made navigating Munich really easy for first-time visitors. Great amenities for a really good price, I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is worth the extra money to stay in. Amazing location and the hotel celebrates the history of the building in which they are located yet brings a fun and clean modern take on everything. Beds were very comfortable and we were in walking of so many local site. Perfect place to stay when in Munich!
