World class hotel with great character. Every little detail in the hotel is paid attention to, and adds to the overall antique feel.
Location can't get any better, main train station is a stones throw away and Augistiner is close by too.
We had a medium room, which was quite spacious for Europe.
Spa was only open 3pm to 11pm which was somewhat strange, so we didnt have a chance to try it.
Only negative I can think of is that reception was always quite busy and had to wait to check-in. There was always 2 or 3 staff there, so this might be just since it is a busy hotel. Staff was helpful and helped print our tickets for the Bayern Munich game.
Despite the business and location next to a main train station, the rooms must have been soundproofed as they were very quiet. If you listened very closely you could sometimes hear the rumble of a train, but it was very quiet. Right in the middle of Munich, this was one of the best parts. Room was very dark as well so it was great to sleep in.
Breakfast was among the best we've had in Europe, high quality hotel breakfast.
Would come back to this hotel, and would check out other locations in the 25 hour hotel.
