"Very nice hotel. Close to train and bus stations. "
This hotel is very close to City a Center as well as train and bus stations. We walked to everything. The staff was great going out of their way to help us with questions. The hotel is very well kept up. We would go back in a heart beat.
We stayed at the Seibel for 2 nights, and it was a good hotel for the money we spent. It's a fairly standard, European hotel (family-run style as opposed to big chain), but served us really well. It's close to the Oktoberfest grounds, so ideal if you were attending the festival, but close enough to the underground system and Hauptbahnhoff for a general stay. The room was decent, bathroom was good, only down side were the pillows. Again, fairly standard European pillows so not something that is surprising. Breakfast was plentiful and there wasn't a strict adherence to the finish time. Wifi was free, it was a bit tempremental in some parts of the room but nothing terrible.
Overall, a good hotel in a good location with friendly staff
Traveller from London
Opposite the Theresienwiese, home of the famous beer festival, and 5 mins from the centre. Rooms have complete bathroom, TV …More
If you need to be close to train station, this could be your hotel. Rooms are large. There are things we like, and things we did not like. Gave 3 to room comfort because air conditioner that was not very good and high bath tub, hard to get inside for an older person. Had to sleep with windows open because it was too hot. Beds comfortable. Wifi slow. Neighborhood not that nice during the night, very noisy.

Just west of the old town, the area around the main station is crammed with hotels and pedestrian areas filled with shops. Further north is the city's museum district, which is home to the Alte and Neue Pinakothek, the Pinakothek der Moderne, the restored Glypothek, the Museum of Antiquities, and the Lenbachhaus, which exhibits the work of Bavarian painter Franz von Lenbach.
