Exposed electrical wires, half falling bathroom fittings shouldn't be called a hotel room.

Great hotel adjacent the beach

Great week's stay at Novotel. I had a deluxe room on the 6th floor with partial sea view. Room was always well cleaned and bottled water provided daily. Good breakfast variety and chef obliged to cook my poached egg every morning. Gym well equipped and pool and pool side was kept clean. Definitely come back and recommend to a friend.

Nice hotel, with beach view.

Pros: Pool, setting by the beach, quiet location away from noise.
Cons: Why not have direct access to the beach from the hotel.
Location: Choice of restaurants within a 10 minute rickshaw ride.
This was our second stay at this particular hotel. Little has changed over the 2 years, pool remains nice and clean and rooms as they were before. Good but possibly in need of new mattresses. They seemed a bit hard. Wifi was a bit hit or miss, needed many visits or calls for help in accessing. Sadly, main issue this visit was that because of several corporate and private events, a large section of the hotel was out of bounds for regular guests, which meant we could not use the facilities which we had paid for. When this was voiced to senior management, they addressed the issue, but I feel that the hotel should have looked after guests needs also.

Only being location close to beach its good.

Pros: beach view
Cons: recliners in the room are very dirty, window curtains have stains on it, rooms are very dusty specially behind the bed, only clean from the main parts
Location: quite a few local food jjoints close by
in room dining menu limited, prices are overpriced, taste is ok not authentic as five star, bedsheets were old, rooms dusty, just to get water from house keeping takes and half an hour.. somehow in pics hotel looks good but in real not so welcoming... Not worth the money

4 star hotel on the beach

The best part of the hotel is their staff. All of them, from screeners to bellmen to front desk employees to the manager, are courteous and ready to help all the time. The restaurant staff and their food is also outstanding. Location of the hotel is just right. Right on the beach with great ocean view. The hotel and the rooms are clean. The condition of the hotel is not as great as you like to see. Carpet in my room was not great. Threads were coming out at certain places, 5v outlet to charge iPhone was not working, 110v outlet in the bathroom was not working. I will rate the condition of the facility somewhere in the middle. Will I go back and stay at this hotel? Most definitely yes - because of their courteous staff.

Next to beach

It's a nice, business class hotel next to Juhu Beach. I recommend you pay the extra fee for an ocean view room otherwise you will be disappointed with what you see out your window. My only minor complaint was it took over 30 minutes to wait for my room to be ready, which after a day of travel isn't fun. Overall I like this place and their breakfast and dinner buffet is wonderful.

Did not get a ocean facing room despite booking one. Breakfast was quite good. Room condition was okay, tho bed sheets and pillow cases were a bit dirty. Room corriodors are in bad condition

Old hotel needs renovation .its 3*** NOT 5*****

Pros: close to the beach .
Cons: needs full makeover .
My room was not ready on time check in time was 2pm and the room was not ready till 2: 30 pm . so i had to wait for half an hour which as a hotel paying guest i should have my room ready on time . hotel is an old building . not happy with my stay , please avoid . look for other hotels .....

Leaves a lot to be desired.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Air Conditioning, Cleanliness, Mini Bar menu and the courtesy and polish in the reception staff.
I am a little fed up with Expedia. Over the last few bookings, I have placed a standard request for a king size bed and a smoking room. And every time either both or one are compromised. At Novotel , during this stay, they said that they had not received any special request from Expedia. Hence I did not get a smoking room which is a BIG DEAL for me. If you do not have a leverage on your hotel partners, please do not propose them on your website.
