Prachtig uitzicht en erg rustig gelegen. ... Huis ligt op een schitterende lokatie. Prachtig uitzicht en erg rustig gelegen. Korte maar pittige wandeling naar het dorp waar je de heerlijkste ijsjes (in de vorm van een roos geschept) kan eten. Dit hebben wij dus bijna iedere avond na de BBQ gedaan. Zwembad is klein maar prettig. Erg veel wespen, maar zolang je ze met rust laat en er niet al te veel op let, heb je er weinig last van. We zijn wel allemaal gestoken, doordat we op een wesp gingen staan of zitten. Slippers aan is dus echt een must. ) Doordat er daar in de buurt erg veel kalk in het water zit, droog je helemaal uit als je veel in het water ligt. Een goeie bodylotion voor droge huid is echt een must. Ook hydraterende zonnebrandcreme is geen overbodige luxe. Dit hebben ze in het dorp niet echt. Heb allerlei middeltjes bij de apotheek geprobeerd, maar niets was hydraterend genoeg. Het huisje is klein, maar prima als het lekker weer is. De keuken is erg karig. De foto met het barretje is de keuken. Totaal geen opbergruimte dus. Alles staat in een grote servieskast. Als je zelf wil kokkerellen is het dus erg lastig. Aangezien wij bijna iedere dag ge-bbq-ed hebben, hadden we er niet zo veel last van. We hebben echt een fantastische vakantie gehad. Lekker kunnen luieren, maar ook lekker actief kunnen zijn. Mountainbikes mee, canyonningen, floaten, raften. Je kan in de omgeving alle kanten uit. Lac St Croix is ook erg lekker. Het strandje dicht bij het huis is relatief rustig. Zorg wel dat je bedjes mee hebt, vanwege de stenen. Waterschoenen zijn ook fijn. Verder eten en drinken meenemen, want je kan er niets kopen. Het was een fijne vakantieweek in dit huisje. Aan alles is te zien dat de eigenaren erg veel zorg aan hebben besteed aan de inrichting veel mooie art deco. Het weer was schitterend, alleen was het water in het zwembad nog iets te koud. We hebben erg genoten van de rust en de schitterend mooie omgeving/natuur. Nooit geweten dat er zulke mooie plekken waren in Frankrijk ongelooflijk mooie uitzichten! Ook het dorpje Moustiers is erg leuk en de moeite waard om goed te bekijken. Kortom een echte aanrader. Het huisje ligt op een prachtige locatie, met helaas wel minder privacy dan gehoopt. Komen regelmatig auto's langs en liep zelfs een hotelgast (van het nabijgelegen hotel) door onze tuin. Dankzij het weer, de mooie omgeving en het zwembad hebben wij hier wel een heerlijke vakantie gehad. Wat op- en aanmerkingen - Het zwembad was troebel op de dag dat wij aankwamen. De eigenaar was het zwembad aan het leegpompen op het moment dat wij aankwamen omdat het water troebel was. Erg jammer, want wij waren hard toe aan een verfrissende duik. Wel werd ons als alternatief aangeboden gebruik te maken van het zwembad van het naastgelegen hotelletje (dat helaas wel vroeg sluit). De volgende dag was het zwembad weer gevuld maar was helaas het water erg koud en ook nog steeds troebel. Gelukkig was het buiten ook erg warm dus kon het water redelijk snel opwarmen. De laatste dag was het heerlijk op temperatuur en niet meer troebel - De tuin is een paradijsje, maar de inrichting van het huisje is echt Frans. Kan er niet veel over zeggen. Veel verzamelingen van vanalles en nog wat, beetje een rommeltje en oogt niet superschoon. Wel compleet verder, maar niet even handig ingedeeld. Slaapkamers zijn prima! - Erg veel wespen rond het zwembad. Helaas verschillende keren gestoken - Wij hadden 2 honden bij ons, zoals in onze reservering aangegeven, maar helaas hebben wij wel muizengif ontdekt dat op de grond in de serre open en bloot in een bakje lag. Wij waren bang dat onze honden hiervan gegeten konden hebben. Eigenaar erop aangesproken die er nogal laconiek over deed maar ons wel goed geholpen heeft verder.
