The Peaks is a great ski in ski out resort in Telluride.
I really liked the attentive hotel staff....the door valet and ski valet are at the top of their game.
The downside is the Palmyra restaurant staff inside the hotel.
We could not get any good service at all.
20 minutes to just get a drink order while at the uncrowded bar.
Then...the hostess turned her back to us while we stood waiting for a table at her post for 10 minutes.
The restaurant was not even full or busy.
The menu offers plates for an average of $30 for dinner entrees...if you can get one.
There are other places to eat within walking distance....that is what I recommend.
We stayed 5 nights in cabin 4010-12. This building backs up to the Double Cabin Ski Run. We were able to just walk around the building and ski down the run to the lifts. This unit also has sliding doors and a patio that face the road so we were able to load and unload right in to our room. The staff was very attentive and helped with every request. Our microwave stopped working and was replaced within 2 hours after I called the front desk. The staff will valet your car or you can park it yourself nearer to your unit. The shuttle service was excellent. We never waiting long. A grocery store is very close.
We had a very comfortable visit with my oldest son, who lives in Telluride.
The condo served as a home base for the family for meals, skiing, laundry, it was perfect.
The view from 102 was spectacular.
We also had wonderful Spring ski conditions!
