We made s’mores at the fire pit, and it was fun to relax in their hammock. There’s no stove, but they do have a griddle that you can cook on microwave, toaster oven, coffee, pot, and all the cooking utensils you could use to cook breakfast. It is ideally located to enjoy several different activities throughout your stay. The cabin is an easy hour drive to Damascus, VA to ride the Creeper Trail. We also took out two polaris on Doe Mountain, the highlight of our kids' trip! Also nearby is the Watuga Lake Winery with beautiful views and live music overlooking the mountain sunset. After every day, we really enjoyed sitting around the firepit and cooking smores. Overall, the cabin was well stocked and very clean.
