This hotel honestly ruined our time in Pompeii. Hotel manager was extremely rude and was not willing to work with us when we had an extra person in our party due to an air b&b mixup. We ended up overcharged for a low quality room. They watched us coming and going from our room the entire time we were there, as if expecting us to do something wrong and waiting to make us pay for it. Not worth it!

This place was like a hostel. Beds were very comfortable and view was nice. Bathroom was very small, toilet seat needed to be tightened. Tv did not work. Hotel was basic but a good value for the money. Rooms need to be updated.

Beautiful location.
I was so pleasantly surprised at the location right next to this beautiful church and park and for whatever reason there was a fireworks show for about 5 minutes right where I was sitting at the outdoor part of the hotel bar. Only negative was wifi only in lobby.

Pompeii a dream came true
My dream to visit Pompeii and climb the Vesuvius came true. Staying centrally located within walking distance is an important factor since I traveled solo. The location is fantastic. The hotel has a lot of history since 1871. It was instrumental in the excavation of Pompeii. Rooms are basic and yet comfortable. This was within my budget but location wise was fabulous.

Hotel was great for a one night stay and price very good. Location was excellent and easy to walking distance from the train station with luggage, staff pleasant enough. One criticism has to be the shower in our room. It was very old, tiny and the water didn’t drain so overflowed.

Clean. Basic. Perfect Location
The hotel room was very basic. The hotel location is perfect for Pompei ruins and the Basillica . It’s a great base for visiting this side of the Naples area. Parking is in a safe nearby car park which the hotel has an agreement with for 15 Euro per day and you can come and go as you please. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room we had was really basic and definitely had room for improvement in regards to the bed and furniture. Also lack of plugs for our phone chargers etc . In the shower there was nowhere to put your soap/shampoo. There was also no toilet roll holder. The room was cleaned every day and we had clean towels every day.

A good budget option because of location
This hotel needs some repairs but was a good value. The AC works great and the location is wonderful, but the decor and amenities are dated.

Really nice hotel
Really nice hotel set in a lovely square, close to both railways and supermarket. Lovely helpful staff, friendly and warm. Lent us a phone charger and helped with train times and where shops were. The lady who cleans the rooms always has a smile. Nice breakfast, immaculately clean - only lacks wifi on the rooms

Very good budget hotel.
Friendly helpful multilingual staff. Good location right on the piazza. 5 minute walk to the train station, 10 minute walk to the Pompeii Ruins and a nice church across the street. Being on the piazza there is some street noise but the room I stayed in had good sound dampening and was not directly over the main square. No wifi in the room which isn't ideal and the furnishings are dated as you'd expect for a hotel in this price range. Secure room with balcony, fridge, good shower and clean. Standard Mediterranean breakfast well serviced. All amenities very close by. Very good value for the money.

Stay Away from this Haunted Place
I wish I could rate this place lower but sadly I can't. I will continue with a list of all the Pros and Cons... Pros: Walking distance from Pompei Found cheap parking at restaurant next to the hotel (different management) Cons: Place cleanness was horrible Balcony full of bird $#!+ Bathroom wasnt cleanned at all WIFI only at ground level No courtesy drinking water Service at maindesk was very rude and mean Only ONE toilet paper roll Room was filthy and stink Overall was an unpleasant stay. You have being warn.

Dear guest, we were astonished reading your comment, as during your accomodation and at your check out you didn't show any concern or informed us about your discomfort (we would have surely helped you, for example, giving you the choice of another room or in any other way). We are open to all advises and critics but not to offence, for this reason we need to answer to all your points. 1) "Birds droppings". Unfortunately Pompei square is full of pigeons and, despite all our efforts, it's not possible for us to keep the cleaner on the balcony h24. 2) "Horrible cleanness; bathroom not cleaned at all; room filthy and stink". Our cleaning staff works several ours a day every day,every week and the rooms are always double checked by different members before customer's check in, so your statement is totally impossible and slanderous. Concerning the "stink", there still probably was a little sent of paint as many rooms had just been painted one week before your arrival and we are sorry about this (we would have changed the room for you no problem if you only had informed us) 3) "WI FI only in the ground level". Yes. On our expedia page it's stated ("Wi-Fi in common areas") so customers are well informed before booking a room. 4) "Rude and mean service" It's the very first time we read something negative about our main desk staff, as it's one of our very strong points and each of them is trained to be useful and kind to the customers, which have always appreciated (see other reviews) the friendliness. Customers are our resource, there's absolutely no reason why we should be mean or rude to them! 5) "No courtesy drinking water" It's not expected in the basic service but, if you had asked, we would have offered it to you without any problem. 6) Only one toilet paper roll. This was surely a lack/mistake of the cleaning staff but, if asked, we give the customers how many they wish. It's really mortifying to read things like these, especially if very unfair and not true. We work only for the customer and always do our best to satisfy all the possible needs and to help enjoy the stay. Best regards

Worddrobe hanging off its hinges. Air con was so nosy it sounded like it was going to explode. So did not use it. Breakfast was very different each day.. did get yogurt the last 2 days. As well as cake do that was good. Staff frendly. While sitting outside I was asked if I wanted Sex. So a little shocked and frightened about that. I would not stay in this hotel again.

Not a great stay
It's on older hotel, but this is Italy. The beds were not very comfortable. The room itself was fine. Not super nice, but fine for a night or 2. The hotel staff was very nice and friendly. The real problem was the concert going on in the plaza right next to the hotel. There was VERY loud music playing till almost 1 in the morning. I know this is not the hotel's fault, but I should have been notified before. One of our 2 rooms was facing the stage. It was like they were in the room with us.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the bar is somewhat limited, but again the staff are very friendly. I only ate in the restaurant once and was rather disappointed with the food. The hotel looks out onto a lovely piazza with fountains and the cathedral and campanile; for 2 euros you can take the lift to the top for fantastic views.

A great hotel for a reasonable price!
The room was comfortable, and right next to the ruins. The multi-lingual staff was friendly, and offered many suggestions about things to do and how to get there. There is a restaurant and bar attached to the hotel. Along the streets within a 2 block radius are tons of small cafes, bars, and restaurants. There are tons of things to do within walking distance that are either touristic or more authentic depending on the direction you want to walk. The staff at the hotel gave some excellent tips on how to find a more authentic experience.

On the internet the room was announced with bathtab, but it has only shower. The bed was uncomfortable and the internet was working only on the reception lobby. The breakfast was not so good either. It’s good that the hotel is near the station, very central and the personal was nice, but I will definittly not use the hotel again.

Una Pessima esperienza !
Mi sono recato nel WE di ferragosto per un viaggio con la mia partner .. arrivati sul posto, in tarda serata abbiamo aspettato più di un’ora per avere accesso alla nostra camera poiché il personale non riusciva a risalire alla nostra prenotazione, paradossalmente ci avevano attribuito una camera singola anche se sapevano che soggiornavamo in due ! SCANDALOSO. Per non parlare del personale in Hall ... no comment. Sconsigliatissimo.

Gentile Ospite, La ringraziamo per la Sua review. Dispiace leggere il Suo malcontento ma, nostro malgrado, non possiamo esimerci dal precisare alcuni dettagli di non poco conto. Lei aveva prenotato una camera singola e dopo aver chiamato in struttura per segnalare la Sua richiesta di una camera matrimoniale, era stato invitato a modificare la Sua prenotazione ovvero, in alternativa, pagare un supplemento in loco. Al Suo arrivo in struttura, peraltro avvenuto oltre l'orario di check in, non risultava nessuna modifica e, pertanto, Le è stato richiesto un supplemento. Alla luce di ciò, risulta evidente che la prenotazione era presente ma, tuttavia, era stata effettuata per una tipologia di camera differente e tale discrepanza, giova lumeggiarlo, non era attribuibile a nostri errori ma ad una Sua omessa modifica. Relativamente all'attesa, per onestà intellettuale appare necessario evidenziare che essa è stata causata dalla Sua insistenza nell'asserire di aver modificato la prenotazione e di non dover, pertanto, versare nessun supplemento. Tuttavia, quantificare l'attesa in un'ora è davvero parossistico. In ragione delle argomentazioni suesposte, risulta ictu oculi evidente che non ci sia nulla di SCANDALOSO nel nostro comportamento. Cordialmente.

Molto buono, personale gentilissimo, albergo pulito, camera e bagno ristrutturati, impagabile posizione in centro a Pompei. Parcheggio convenzionato a 100metri come l’ingresso agli scavi. Giudizio assolutamente positivo.
