The location of the house is great. Quick drive to the beach and easy to get to downtown Charleston. There was plenty of room for our whole family (7 people). We had a last minute change in our travel plans and the owner was able to accommodate us a day early. The only con of the house was that there wasn’t enough silverware for more than one meal for our group. There were lots of plates, just not enough utensils. We very much enjoyed our stay at Low Country Lux. It’s an open floor plan with lots of windows and light. Our favorite spot was the patio area outside. Birds were singing, the landscape is beautiful and the furniture is comfortable- idyllic! The home is in a perfect location- even walkable to the Harris Teeter grocery store. Royall Stays checked in several times before we arrived and even sent an email after our first night there just to check in and make sure there was nothing we needed. Finally, I especially appreciate their comment in their home description about treating the property as a high end hotel- none of those annoying “things to do before you leave” lists. This alone is a great reason to rent the home. Often we are in a hurry to get on the road after a visit— with a long drive/flight home ahead of us. We had an awesome stay here. The house was so clean and comfortable. We had 11 people stay and everyone had plenty of space. The mattresses are unreal.
