"We were blessed to be able to stay during the week of the April 2024 solar eclipse. The open area behind the cabin was perfect for viewing the eclipse in totality. It was an awesome experience. The entire visit was complete with bluebirds and country calm for relaxation. The rain day on the metal roof was great and made our trip to the Crater of Diamonds State Park the next day that much more exciting. (We didn't find one on the surface though.) "Great trip… wonderful condo. Quiet. Comfortable clean great views of ducks geese and boats. Only negative for me was that the sheets were too hot and that voicemail to contact number was not returned. Neither of these will stop me from coming back though. The sheets are a personal preference and perhaps the message number can be discussed."
